I like these boots - though they are just a bit like outdoor slippers. I thought the leather looked firmer in the picture. I think too, that I prefer to have a more firmly fitting boot, which is more supportive to the foot, and of course too, the posture. They are a comfortable sloppy boot, and so the posture is sloppy too and I couldn't walk too far in them as they don't offer enough support. They are what I call an urban boot, suitable for cold days around the shops. I bought a size 7, though I usually take 6 and a half. They only just fit me, so I think the sizing is short on length, though very wide. The seam across the front of the boot could be set back 1 cm and that would probably hold the foot better.

These are absolutely wonderful boots. They fit well, are so comfortable and warm and look good. The finish doesn't water mark either.

I already have a pair of knee length boots which I love and have worn now for 3 years. My sister loved mine so much she decided with the bad weather this year to try a pair. Fantastic she says, warm, comfortable, like wearing a pair of slippers and if they wear like mine they should last forever. Ideal for work, walking, or just about anything else. The do not mark in the snow either which was an initial worry and as you can either leave the top down or put it up these boots are very versatile. Love them

These boots are GORGEOUS!!!!! They are my third pair of Celtic boots and I love all three pairs. The Shorties are cute and fun and the Toggle boots are very stylish. Sadly, my Toggle boots finally wore out. Since you don't make them anymore, when my mother offered me a gift, I chose these calf height Button Boots. I am so pleased that I did! And so pleased that my mother was so generous!! They are very original. They are going to be real show-stoppers! Really, beautiful boots!

Had to return the boots at first because they were a bit small - the next size arrived within a few days (took longer because of the Xmas period) I am delighted with them - they look trendy and are really cosy and sensible in the ice wet weather!

I would recommend all aspects of Celtic Sheepskin,however i have bought a pair of button boots as i really like the design. they are well made, incredibly warm and cosy, however I can no longer wear them as they have stretched and now flop around on my feet and feel quite heavy, I obviously should have bought a full size smaller, maybe it would be a good idea to state this in product details in the future..this has not stopped me buying any further items as i have bought sandals and clothes in the past and have been very pleased with them and have had plenty of wear out of them.

My button boots arrived two days after ordering -great service!.
I have worn them a few times and find them to be very warm and comfortable.I would certainly recommend them to anyone thinking of buying a pair of sheepskin boots.

Got these and just spent a weekend walking all over Sheffield and Durham in them!! They kept my feet toasty warm and were very comfy. My teenage daughters told me I was looking 'quite trendy'!

This is my 4th pair of Boots from Celtic Sheepskin, I just love them, I am normally a 5.5 & in the past have ordered a 6 but by mistake ordered a 5 this time, I have to say they fit better for me.

In recent years when there has been heavy snow these boots are invaluable, they keep you so warm & are brilliant with grip, I really wouldn't have been able to go out without them on, I used the protection spray (Celtic's Wolly Protector 3 x 3) on all my boots, even when the snow came up to my ankles & got quite wet, I left them to dry naturally & a soft brush up after they look like new.

Great Boots, stylist, practical I can't imagine life without them!

I read the reviews of the button boots and worried about the dye but ordered anyway. Sure enough the dye turns my feet black! Haven't worn socks with them as I'd be too hot. However the boots are so comfortable and stylish I will put up with it. I am hoping it will fade eventually (only had them 2 weeks). I am really disappointed about this but otherwise the boots are fab and have drawn admiring comments. I just have to remember not to remove them in company.

Great boots I have bought many items from Celtic sheepskin and the quality is great - however the dye comes off this style and I got black feet within hours of wearing. Been told this is rare but am returning them for another style with undyed sheepskin.

Gorgeous! This is my 4th pair - yes 4th! - of Celtic boots. Two popper pairs - one in each colour, a waterproof pair and now these. Have ordered all pairs in a 6, and these def come up bigger than the others. Only problem is the black dye. I wore them with pale socks... now ruined pale socks. If I wear them barefoot, I end up with black feet and ankles! Wanted to go out to a party and had to wear trousers!!

These are stunning boots, and even lovelier than I'd imagined! Beautifully made and love the big button and how you can either turn the sheepskin down or keep it up. I can't believe anything so warm and cosy can look so chic too. I'm a size 5 1/2 and ordered a 5 first (too small) before exchanging for a pair in size 6 which fit better. I'd recommend ordering a size up rather than down.

These arrived very fast. They are lovely, warm and good thick sole. I am usually a 7.5 or 41 and never quite know whether to go down to a 7 or up to an 8. On this occasion I went up to an 8 and they are a bit roomy. probably would have done better to go down a size. This doesnt distract at all from the lovely boot, just a sizing issue

These boots are great, they arrived quickly and are toastie warm, I haven't been wearing socks in them because they feel so nice. Like outdoor slippers. Very pleased with my purchace. Absolutely love these boots. The addition of the big button makes them very stylish. I have to agree with some of the other comments in that the manufacture of these boots is second to none and my feet feel snuggly and warm when I am wearing them.

My second pair of Celtic sheepskin boots. My first popper boots are still going strong, but these are even more gorgeous! What a fabulous design. The sheepskin is even softer and my feet feel like they are walking on clouds. Great design too and the buttons are really big and different. I will have to have these surgically removed from my feet. Thank you!

These arrived soon after I ordered them for my daughter's birthday and she is delighted with them. Celtic boots are much better cut than a certain Australian brand and really surround the foot comfortably as opposed to being rather flat and “pancake” like in the sole. I only buy Celtic boots now.

I recently purchased three items from Celtic, one of which were the Button Boots.
I ordered on-line on a Sunday. They came on the Tuesday which was amazing in itself (ordering on-line can be a bit hit and miss with delivery dates and times).
The boots are wonderfully made, and very snuggly!! (Is that a word? - Who cares).
Well done Celtic, I will definately be ordering again.

Just been given these boots as an early xmas pressie! I've wanted them for a long long time and am definately NOT dissapointed! They are so warm and snug and fit a treat. They go brilliantly with all my clothes and are so much better made than any other sheepskin style boots on the market. I love them!! Will definately be back for more products. The classic Celtic Sheepskin comfort and warmth is a given with these boots but the styling gives them an extra twist. I'm really pleased with this purchase and love wearing them. My feet are looking forward to another cosy winter!
