I ordered this pair of boots for me. Sadly size 6 was so optimistic. Rather than sending them back, I gave them to my daughter and re-ordered a pair for me in size 7 this time and a slightly different style, with the poppers on the side. These arrived a couple of days ago and today I am wearing them as the thermometer read ZERO. How comfortable, how light, and oh so warm!!! I will definitely come back to you for more shopping. Thank you for being so helpful and also keeping us all informed as to where our goods are!! Happy New Year!!

I thought they were wonderful but had to return them... my legs are short so don't buy if your legs r short..exchanging for Knee boots, will see if those will b better to slightly roll down.

I ordered a second pair of these to keep in storage for when my old ones wear out! Unfortunately they arrived in the wrong size. I rang up to explain the mistake and a courier was arranged immediately to collect them.(came within 3 hours of the call.) Excellent products, excellent service, and what a joy to be able to buy British.

My first purchase from Celtic boots were the Aqua lamb boots two years ago...they are still going strong after two winters of snow and two camping seasons, ideal for those early morning treks across the dewy fields to the loo!! So I wasn't at all surprised when my clacker boots lived even more up to my expectations...First venture out was four hour shopping trip..my feet were in heaven. I have skinny legs so reading the reviews I was delighted with the slim fit design, I actually had to cut the leather lace a little shorter as I was almost tying my legs together with the flapping clackers... lol...Well done Celtic Boots I'll be back for more. I was advised to buy a size down as I never where socks with my celtix the size is perfect.

I'm delighted with the style and quality of these boots - very thick sheepskin will keep me lovely and warm. My only reservation is the sizing-I ordered up a size from my usual size but they still seem a little snug, so I am now sending for the next size up to compare the two. Luckily there is a 60day return. They are a slim fit in the calf, but as I usually have trouble finding boots that don't make me look like a pantomime Dick Whittington I am delighted!. The customer service has been excellent - I asked about the sizing by email, received a phone call within an hour and had a good chat about sizing together with some helpful strategies to address the issues I was having. Fingers crossed that I can choose the correct size now! My only problem will be not ordering more and more...

Bought these in a size 4 for my daughter for christmas and made the mistake of letting her check they fit. 3 days later she hasn't taken them off. At least I won't have to wrap them.

My wife loved these boots (a surprise present!). However, she was absolutely gutted that she could not get them over her calf. I even let my Mum have a go and neither could she! Neither of the women in my life are what you would consider “large” so there seems to be a design fault here. Perhaps the top two eyelets could be “real” to allow better access. I have reluctantly had to return the boots.

These boots are really lovely BUT I had to return them as they are far too narrow in the leg. My calf measures 14 1/2 inch max and i struggled to get my jeans inside. Even without jeans very tight. Shame.

Bought these boots after having bought the long black celt knee boots. Although tight around my not inconsiderably fat calves they do after a few days wear become moulded to your shape, delicious. I suspect I will be wearing these and the black boots on alternate days for years. Looking for the snow now!

I bought these and the popper boots and am really quite dissapointed. Both pairs were too small too fit around my calves (which measure 15 inches at thier widest part and are very slim at ankles and under knees). The clacker boots are exceptionally straight up and down with no shape for those of us with more athletic/shapley legs. Yet again I will have to buy Australian Uggs rather then English as they seem to understand women are built in a variety of different ways, such a shame!

Beautiful boots - absolutely stunning. Devastated I could not get them on my fat legs and big feet...... either needs a pull up tag at the back or maybe a zip top to bottom. Sent them back reluctantly.

Absolutely beautiful boots! I sold all my old shoes and boots on Ebay to raise the money to buy these and I am delighted. Customer service advise on sizing was very sound and helpful too. One of the laces just broke but again CS very helpful and sending a new pair! Thanks Celtic Sheepskin!

Lovely boots, so warm, cosy and stylish, as were my last years boots (the popper boots). Don't know if any one can suggest an answer to the only problem I had last year, because the leather is so soft my big toe came through the top in a few months.

Ordered my boots and they arrived shortly after. I have been praying for cold weather so I can run out and wear them. Slightest cloud in the sky and I was off! They are completely amazing and everyone wants to know where I got them from. Being 6,2” they're not exactly knee length on me, but they are the lovliest boots in my (not inconsiderable!) shoe room. Yummy, my feet are warm as toast!

Very prompt delivery - super boots - still missing half sizes though! I know that 8 would be too big and 7 is slightly too small on my larger foot but very helpful when I telephoned Celtic just to check I had ordered the correct size. 60 days to return item is very generous. Lovely boots, very comfortable and I cannot wait to wear them. It is so cold today I am also tempted .......!

I love them! My friend bought some 'Rustic' boots and couldn't stop raving about them, so i bought these 'Clacker' short boots and they're fantastic! SO warm! I lead an outdoor life, and they keep my feet cozy and warm even if i'm outside all day and my feet are normally cold even in summer! Perfect for people with different sized feet too, as the sheepskin inside gives a really personal fit. They arrived next day as promised. It's like wearing clouds on your feet!!!! I want a knee length pair now.....
