These boots are fab, super snug and look great too, I haven't had much wear as it's not been quite cold enough for such warm boots however they are really comfy and fit perfectly - I ordered them now as they were in stock and I didn't want to have to wait until the Autumn. My mum bought me the knee length Popper boots - well I had to pay over half! They are amazing and look great with short skirts, skinny jeans and even my riding breeches! They are keeping my feet really warm and make my size 7 feet look small. The Uggs I tried on made my feet look Huge!

I bought these boots because I sell plants at fairs and markets in bitterly cold weather (minus 7.5C recently!) and have to stand on cold flagstones for 8 hours at a time. These popper boots are FAB. The sole is a decent thickness (which helps massively with the cold under foot)the lining really does its job keeping everything warm from the knees down and they look stylish too. I have had the calf-length size for years, love them. The knee-length however, were a big disappointment, not a chance of being able to do up the middle poppers. I don't think I have particularly big calves - I am not obese, I'm disabled and can walk very little, but I just could not get them even close.
It was expensive to return them, so I am not best pleased.
Given other comments as to fit, maybe it would be a good idea to give maximum leg width.

lovely boots and good service, nice to be able to ring the company and get good advice and guidance about the fit etc. however I found these boots to have a strange fit. As advised, I ordered the size 7 as I am usually a 6.5. My toes are right at the end but when I walk the heels slip off-even when I wear sox. I think this is because I have quite a narrow foot and the heel part of the boot is quite broad-I don't know? The leg part of the boot is very snug and I have a very slim leg so that was good for me.The style and quality are very good so, rather dissapointingly, I am having to return my boots as there is no other solution, a size 6 would be way too small.-and that's where the service falls down, having paid £6.95 delivery charge I now have to Pay another £4.95 return charge with Collect plus. if I took them to the P.O. it would cost around £10!!!!

I am thrilled with my boots and I am particularly thrilled with the service you give. They arrived really quickly (amd just before Christmas too) and although I loved the quality I was a little worried they were going to be too tight around my calf. I sent an email to that effect and the next morning recived a phone call to talk through it with me. You put my mind at rest and I am now enjoying wearing them very much. Every Christmas when my husband asks what I want, I just tell him “More Celts please!" He thinks it's really boring and unimaginative to buy me the same thing every year, but hey, if I'm not in bed I'm in these, so NOTHING could be a better present. I now have the straight knee-high in black and mocha, and he just bought me the spice knee high with poppers for a change. I also have the classic calf length in purple and of course the slippers, not to mention a few of your knitted tops, so you could say I'm a somewhat satisfied customer! I have really bad circulation, but now cold feet are a thing of the past, and I never even wear socks with these boots. They also support the feet and arches really well, and I can walk for ever in them. I have even stepped into 6-inch deep puddles in them, and the boot dried before my feet ever got wet! Amazing! I have one pair of Uggs I bought because I liked the denim colour choice, but would never buy another pair -- really inferior to Celts, and anyway, I resent paying postage over from Australia when a Cornish brand is so much better in quality and service. Have just had my original black ones re-soled, and they're like new. Just one thing, size down a half size rather than up, as although they might feel really tight at first, they then soften around your feet like memory foam, and fit like a fabulous glove. Celtic Sheepskin rocks!

Bought the calf high boots in spice. They are supposed to be for Christmas, but the fact they need 'breaking in' means that I have had the excuse to hoof around the house in them - they are so comfortable and a great design. You make the best boots (and slippers - my three sons all put their celt slippers on the minute they get into the house). I was a little disappointed that the sole wasn't as rugged as that on my normal celt boots - I thought all the soles will be the same. This one seems flimiser, but I haven't tried it outside yet so perhaps it will be OK.
Can't wait to wear them properly on Christmas Day!

My shoe size is five and half, ordered size 6 initially, far too big, swapped for size 5.At first thought they were going to be too small, but after 2 days, they fit perfectly. I'm wearing them without socks so I can really enjoy the beautifully soft sheepskin. Feet are sooooo toasty. I've chuncky calves so am wearing the regular poppers rolled down. So glad I took a chance and got these boots.

Just lovely boots! Don't be alarmed at first as they will feel very tight but they are fabulous as they soften up. Find it easier to get in and out of then with the poppers done up - otherwise you have to be a bit of a contortionist! Wore them to the beach the other day - they clean up really well with the square block suede cleaner that Celtic also sell.
I was so pleased with them that a friend as also bought a pair!

These boots are for my Sister who has not seen them yet as she lives abroad but over for Christmas! So I can tell you from looking at them that they are a beautiful rich Colour and very well made. The design of the poppers is extremely versatile as my sister is 6ft she can carry the full length but has the option of turning the top over should she wish for a different look. I have also purchased these for my Niece and my youngest daughter. Says it all really..............!!

I have coveted a pair of Celtic Sheepskin boots for ages, after owning several pairs of gorgeously snug bootee slippers. I had been put off by the calf measurements, but thought I would try the popper boots as they have the option of leaving the top popper open and folding down. I bought a pair of these in a different colourway last year, so was delighted to be able to buy them in black this year. They are incredibly comfortable, and look great whether worn buttoned up or folded over. The fleece inside is thick but the boots are more supportive than Uggs, and a slightly narrower fitting which suits my feet!

A touch disappointing. This is my 5th pair Celtic boots, and last years popper boots were a better fit. I have yet to wear these..they are wider than any of my other size 5s and bigger on the leg. Not sure why or if I will wear them enough to justify keeping them.

I have had my pair of popper boots for three years now and had them made in grey. I wear them without socks and wear them in winter and summer too (with shorts!) they are just amazing. They dont slouch, the soles stay sturdy, and I have just put them on a delicate wash in the washing machine and they are like new again! However, I am going to ask for money for my birthday next month and want to order a pair of knee length in black. These boots are so much better than uggs, and more stylish!

WOW! I have been looking at these boots for over a year now and finally treated myself after reading the reviews. Fantastic service, I ordered them on Sunday afternoon and they arrived the following Tuesday afternoon. The size is perfect(my normal shoe size) and as for comfort and looks.....just amazing.....roll on Winter! I admit to being a celtic Sheepskin addict and am the loving owner of several blankets, rugs, gilets,gloves, socks, jumpers and boots, not to mention the recent purchases of a buggy liner and puddies for our new baby.
However, the popper boots are still one of my favourite buys! I have had the spice pair for three years and they look nearly new! Forget Uggs...they really slouch and get so dirty but with a little care using the spray on these Celtic boots they are fabulous for years!
I also have the rustic boots which I still walk the dog in 6 years on!
Excellent company and I am currently saving up for the Waterfall Jacket - a real luxury but I plan on keeping the jacket forever!!
Cant compliment the quality and style enough!!!

I have the knee length Popper boots in Spice and I love, love, love them. They are really warm and comfortable. I never wear socks with them and I can still fasten them when wearing leggings or skinny jeans.

They give a little in the leg after wearing them a few times but that just enhances the slouchiness.

I get compliments on these boots all the time and I'm so glad I didn't bother with Ugg Australia. I'd rather buy British and if the reviews are anything to go by, I know I'm getting quality that will last for years.

I purchased the calf height Popper Boots this Xmas to get me through the cold weather and they were gorgeous and warm.
They do give a little once worn in and that that makes them even more comfortable, also they don't seem to sag at the back like the Ugg boots do. I enjoyed wearing the boots with my Celtic Slouchy Cashmere Jumper and I was so cozy and felt very GLAM! Will be purchasing another style boot soon. Thank-you Celtic!

I credit these boots with medicinal qualities! After I broke my ankle bone in two places (yes, yuck) my lower leg would swell up and sting frequently. I bought a full length pair and wore them daily for several weeks and the consistent warm temperature and soft interior helped my recuperation enormously. They look good too and it's great that they go in the washing machine.

I bought mine in the Autumn to take on holiday in Austria at Christmas. They did an excellent job at keeping me warm as toast in the snow and ice and as another reviewer remarked - no need for socks. Ooooh my boots arrived this morning at 8.30 this morning ( Christmas Eve having left Cornwall at 4pm the previous day ) I nearly kissed that lovely Parcel Force man ... I was the most excited customer of his morning . When I ordered there was a 5 week wait but arrived within 3 weeks . I just love a company who over delivers .

I absolutely love these boots! I'm 5'8” and pretty athletic and they fit perfectly, with just the right amount of slouch (around the ankles), the suede exterior was buttery soft (until i chucked them in the mashing machine and they just became regular soft) and the sheepskin fluffy and thick! Everything about them was obviously high quality and the buttons very easy to open and close. I'm about to buy the knee Clacker boots, I love Celtic and my Mum has their original pair of boots in the spice colour and they're still in great condition (they have to be at least 10 years old by now)! BUY THEM!!! Massive comfort and quality investment!

I bought the calf length boots in black. Oh how i love these boots!!They are so well made, beautifully soft and really good looking. The quality is excellent and the sole of the boot is really sturdy so you get no turning in of your foot like other boots on the market.I am now addicted to these and cannot wait till it goes really cold!
