My wife and I bought in 2004, 2 pair of Celtic soft-sole Moccasins. Now, 2012, after years of daily use and some patchwork on the stitching?s, the soft-soles of mine are done. My wife's moccasins also required some stitching patchwork, but are still going strong.
I have had cheaper versions moccasins, but none of them lasted anyway near these moccasins of Celtic.
I'm glad that Celtic is still around and I just ordered the hard-sole version in the hope to get an even longer lasting moccasin. If that's the case, you may have to wait a long time before my next review; perhaps 10 years or so? :-)
There is no substitute for real quality and I hope Celtic will weather the economic downturn, so they will be still around when my third pair comes due.

I had ordered the soft sole and reveived the hard sole. this was quickly rectified the ecorrect pair arrived with out delay. I have had apair of these before, these lasted 6years before the stiching gave way.
I am very pleased to wearing such good quality and value slippers!

Opened today by the birthday boy. He loved them! A bit pricey but the quality looks great. Only took one day in the post. Great service. Will try to remember to send you an update on durability when they have been in use for a year.

Bought these for my husband as a Christmas present. Delivery was super fast. Will be able to judge them on Christmas day, but have bought children Celt boots and adult celts in the past and have always been happy with the product. However, find childrens boots quite expensive considering they grow out of the boots after one season.

I bought these for my husband (why can't husbands ever buy their own?) and initially they were fine but after a while the stitching came undone. He was rather annoyed, so I contacted Celtic who advised me to return them. Much to my satisfaction, they replaced them with a new pair. So top marks for service with quality coming in at a poor second. We'll see how well the new ones last. I must add though that the bootees I bought at the same time are first-rate and I wear them every day.

Excellent delivery and a fine product, although I find the small knot where the stitching of the top of the slipper to the main body is finished off can irritate the top of my foot, perhaps it is my foot shape.

A lovely quality sheepskin slipper, beautifully warm and hardwearing.

Only negative comment - could do with being wider across the toes with my “square-shape” front feet. I have to wear new ones for short periods until the slipper starts to stretch and give by my litte toe otherwise they hurt. Slim feet/toes? - no problems.

I would still buy again though.

My search for a sheepskin slipper with a hard sole ended when I found Celtic. This slipper is absolutely great! Excellent on my kitchen's cold slate floor it keeps my feet cosy and snug during the hardest winter! And in the summer? It's soft luxury is welcoming after a day in heels! Ladies, you can't go wrong!
