Slippers are great. As I'd expect from Celtic Sheepskin who provide quality products for a premium. Thought I'd treat myself after the false economy of buying a cheaper pair elsewhere. Hope these last as long as my previous Celtic ones.

The service was great and the slippers are wonderful. May I make one suggestion i/t/o of style. The slippers I have bought previously in South Africa have a separate stitched on cuff at the ankle - this makes for a far better fit in terms of depth so they come further up the ankle and retain their shape. Not a criticism - just constructive input - I hope.

I made the error of first going with a different brand for the type of slipper. The sole came off within 3 months and are now back with the manufacturer.

Delivery and communications were quick and friendly. The product itself is excellent and of a much higher quality for a such small difference in price. Would highly recommend

I've owned several pairs of sheepskin slippers before, and needed a second pair as my others are at my parent's house. Upon looking, I was very disappointed with the range at John Lewis (terrible!), so decided to have a browse on the internet. I was impressed by the range of styles and colours available at Celtic Sheepskin, and like the fact that they're made in the UK.
The slippers are so warm and fit perfectly after a few days of wearing. After much dithering over which colour to get, I ordered the grey slippers, and they have come out much darker than the image (likely due to the colour of the original skin, as mentioned on the website), more like the navy blue - which was my second choice! I'm very happy with these slippers, and have already recommended them to a friend. When they eventually wear out I'll be back for more!

I have just bought my third pair of these slippers from Celtic Sheepskin, with the other pairs lasting 2-3 years each and they get worn every day! I like the firm sole that allows me to put the rubbish out without having to change into a cold pair of shoes. They're incredibly warm and don't slip off my feet, even when well worn. I am sure that in a few years time I'll be buying my fourth pair.

Recently moved into a old cottage with a slate floor. Lovely but cold. Bought a pair of standard high street slippers but within a couple of months the soles had gone. Following a recommendation from a friend I investigated Celtic Sheepskin. After getting over the initial thought of spending £50 on a pair of slippers I decided on the Bootees. I like my feet being completely enclosed. Mules don't stay on.
After reading the reviews I phoned Celtic Sheepskin to discuss what size to buy. Some customers had recommended buying a larger size but I was advised to stick with my normal shoe size. So a size 6 I ordered. They arrived 2 days later and I was surprised to find they were too big. So I ordered a 5 as well to compare the fit. They also arrived very quickly and were a perfect fit. Yes tight to start but very quickly they moulded to my feet. And the initial size 6 I bought, my mum now had them.
My only fear is that they are going to get a bit mucky as I wear them all day when I'm in the house. I hope they wash as well as they say.

I'd highly recommend these to anyone with permanently chilly feet. I've poor circulation and also need to keep my feet warm and these are the perfect solution. I did find these fit a bit big and wish they'd come in half sizes, but other than that, I'll be living in these!

There is a big problem with these slippers - taking them off! They are much too warm and comfortable - cosy, cosy feet, even in this cold weather. If you wanted to improve them further, a narrower heel would be good. And if you produced a narrower slipper, I could send a pair to my chilblain-ridden sister! Excellent delivery service.

My 11 year old daughter is delighted with her gorgeous purple bootee slippers, they're so cosy and warm. She's a size 3 and to allow her growing room we also bought the sheepskin insoles - we haven't needed the insoles yet but have them for when the lining of the slippers gets flattened down.
Now 3 out of the 4 members of our family have the bootees, just the youngest member to go!

Purchased 'His Lordship' some sheepskin bootees from a reputable store for Christmas. He said they were HEAVEN but then had to take them back 2 weeks later.

These are the best slippers in the world. I've just bought a new purple pair to replace my last pair which had worn out - but they were five years old and had been worn and worn (including nipping across the road to the shops in them quite regularly!) I washed them a couple of times and they came up like new (though it's best to do it in the summer, as they do take a long time to dry). I wouldn't have any other kind of slippers. Wonderful.

I am now on my fifth pair of these wonderful bootees, and in due course will definitely buy my sixth. They're wonderful and get a LOT of wear. I work from home and have them on all day every day. They wash well too - although not every week of course! I get ten or more washes out of them before they become a little delicate and need replacing. And who has to wash slippers every week? They go for months before needing a trip to the washing-machine. They breathe with my feet, keep them cosy, and seem to suit whatever the time of year. Very definitely recommended!!!!!!!!!!

I bought these for my mother-in-law for Christmas, we ordered her usual size but unfortunately they were too small but got them exchanged no bother for the next size up which are a perfect snug fit! Like myself my mother-in-law suffers from very cold feet and the perfect cure for mine were my sheepskin boots which are superb toe toasters so I thought these slippers would be great for her especially as the wooly cuff can be turned up to keep her ankles warm too. Previously bought some for my toddler and having coverted them, i splashed out on some for myself. Bit bigger than standard sizes. Next time i will send my foot measurement for exact recomendation of size, otherwise ok. Nice and warm with a good sturdy sole but the insole in mine feels very thin and could definitely have done with a deeper pile sheepskin. Have to wear thick socks or they feel too hard. great all round warm and cosy slipper but for £49 would expect the insole to be more substantial. Also best to enquire about sizes first. Measure your own foot and ask Celtic before ordering.

My home has earth floors which are covered with quarry tiles and is heated by a lovely toasty solid fuel stove which runs the central heating, but in the winter the floors, though carpeted over the quarry tiles can be really cold and of course the fire breaths and so pulls in cold air from outside; so my feet are always chilly!

Not any more, I'm pleased to say! My new bootees are absolutely brilliant. They really are very warm and snug; and so comfortable to wear.

This is my first pair, and like some of the other reviewers I found them very close fitting. However, just as advised in the catalogue, they have now been `worn in` and are extremely comfortable. I like the natural warmth of them as opposed to the `sweaty heat` of man made materials. They arrived much sooner than expected and were well packaged.

Loved the whisky colour but, despite having very small and slim feet, found the slipper quite difficult to get on but on enquiring, your adviser suggested I not buy a larger size. Once on, it is very warm and cosy. Not sure if I would buy a larger size next time if it made it easier to get on.

Over the years, my wife and I have bought quite a few pairs of these slippers. The purchase price is high compared to other products, but we have always believed they are the best. However, the latest purchase leaves us wondering whether the product is no longer made to the same standards we have come to expect. The inside lining of the slippers feels like a synthetic and not at all like wool. It is thin and you certainly do not get the impression that the shoes are worth the price paid. The smell of adhesive was overpowering on both pairs, something that we have never noticed before. I would suggest that quality has been sacrificed at the expense of profit, and this saddens me as we have supported Celtic since 1997. A no longer great product at a huge premium price.

I've just received my second pair of bootees - navy blue. The first pair in purple, now well worn in, are now being worn by my mother who doesn't like the sheepskin to be tight on her feet. I have other family members who've also had these slippers in black, and brown, and we're all equally pleased with the comfort and warmth they bring to your feet. I can't fault these at all, and the really good thing is that if after a long winter the sheepskin inner soles wear thin, you can simply replace them as I've done in the past.

I have wide feet with a high instep and used to take size 5 until my feet spread - but 6 in celt boots and bootees is a great fit, even if they stretch. First rate product and delivery.

Simply the best £50 I ever spent like many mums I can justify spending £49.00 on myself, but after a lot of prompting from my husband in the end I gave in and phoned to order mine the young man was very nice and helpful with helping me to work out the right size to get,
the order was made at 1:50pm well great to see thay arrived with in 24 hours they were with my by 10am the next morning could not get the box open quick enough really cosy very warm totally wonderful in fact the next day even travel to London with them on my feet while my husband was driving I might add I sure you could drive in them.
And i would say the have not been off my feet really since the deliver man dropped them off

Fabulous bootees - wonderfully cosy and the hard sole means I can nip out to the garden without wasting them.Iam disabled so feel the cold greatly and I find only sheepskin keeps my feet really cosy.
Size instructions were just right -they were a bit tight for a few days but have now stretched to fit are are perfect.The previous reviews are all very helpful as I had ,at first ,ordered a size up,but on reading the reveiew changed it to my actual size.
I love the range of colour too!

Delivery very prompt.I chose spice for my self and whiskey for my husband. Lovely colours. We both thought that the slippers were a snug fit to begin with, however they “relaxed” within a few days. Very happy with both my denim blue and my husband's mole slipper boots. They're lovely products - very comfortable,and don't look too much like slippers, so my slipper-hating husband will happily wear them.

Two thoughts;
- would you consider offering the option of pre-treating them with a stain repellant? I got a couple of small oil marks on the first wearing because I wasn't thinking
- I would like some with slightly more substantial,shaped soles, so that I could wear them for short trips outside

These are expensive, but... They are really comfy, and although I have broad feet and they were snug initially, they loosened to a perfect fit within a day or two! They are practical, because they have soles so you don't have to change into shoes to pop out to the garden! Lovely “slippers” and very comfortable. I agree with one of your cutomers who suggests putting a strong ribbon on the heel as an aid to putting them on. Delivery and service excellent, but I was not as keen on the slippers when I received them as I had been when looking on your website. The grey colour I chose is not the charcoal grey I expected; it's more bluey than that. I ordered my normal size and I think that was the right thing to do, but the slippers are somehow less substantial than I'd imagined they'd be and definitely do not come up as high as I would like around the ankle. One of the slippers seems to be made of slightly less sturdy sheepskin that has been stretched a bit. The outer packaging was good, but the slipper bag itself had a small hole pushed through it, so it didn't look too professional. Not sure I'll order slippers again, though I'm waiting for the really cold weather to see if they'll bed down as promised by other reviews!

The first thing I noticed about these slippers was that the colour was nothing like the picture online. (Grey slippers) The colour is very dark, almost dark blue, not pale grey like the picture. Shame as its a gift for my mother who loves grey which is why I chose this colour. To close to her birthday to send them back so dark blue/grey it is! Slippers very lightweight. I dont know why I expected them to be heavy, but I did. I cant try them on as they are not for me, but I put my hand inside and they feel lovely and soft. I am sure my mum will love them. Its a pity that the outer box is the actual post packaging aswell as I want to wrap the box as its a gift but the box has celotape rips/marks on it now and a label on it that I have to tear off too. Maybe its worth considering putting some outer wrapping on the box to post out to people? Quite pricey for slippers but I am hoping they are worth it :-)

I'm penning my review as my feet are clad in my precious bootee slippers, so it will be a bit biased towards the fantastic!

My husband and I both have these (about a year old now) and they look as good today as the day the arrived in the box...they are uber comfortable and wonderfully warm. They have moulded to the exact shape of my feet and are the thing I search for first thing in the morning and the moment I come through the door...

They are instantly comforting, not just from a heating point of view, but pure and simple comfort!

I love having the collar up on mine for added warmth around the ankles and have been known to walk the kids to school with them still on if I've got long trousers....you 'can' get away with it, they're so stylish...and I hate the cold.

I love the fact that when the eventually wear out, CS can resole them.....! I reckon that'll be years off...the sole is complete intact.

I could even buy a replacemet inside sole when the time comes....but again, that's showing no sign of wear at all.

They offer superb value for money, I couldn't be more satisfied with them if I tried and am very happy to pen my review, encouraging others to make a GOOD BUY!

Now I'm off for a look at your new products for this winter...

Got the boots a few weeks ago, now got the slippers, fantastic, it is becoming an addiction! I love the colour of the pink....they are so warm and my feet are cold even in summer. Not any more.!
If you want warm comfortable slippers, BUY THESE.

Without a doubt the warmest and most comfortable slippers I have ever had. Here in Yorkshire I wear warm slippers for most of the year, so these are ideal and last for years, as they are so well made.

I have been the proud owner of a pair of slippers for some 6years, I am just about to replace them I have bought slippers for my grand daughter and daughter both of whom love them. When my grand daughter was tiny she had the puddies and loved the, she now has one of the childrens hats which keep her lovely and warm during this last winter. Am I a fan of Celtic Sheepskin, of course I am.
