I received a pair of over-the-knee socks from a friend for Christmas (in raspberry)and they were so warm and comfortable I just had to have another pair! So I now have a pair in Heather.

only just over the knee (5'9”), the rib starts around mid knee cap so keeping the fold they don't go that high. I bought brown, charcoal and navy, mostly to wear with tights but to show above boots and stop the zip snagging! When the boots are off I like to unfold them as part of the outfit - fairisle knit dress, grey tights and navy over knees. They are so nice I have to fold them lovingly in my drawer rather then just turn the pairs together!

Ordered raspbeyy and heather lovely colours and texture but they do not stay up on bare legs - will have to try over tights as per other review but this defeats my original object for their purchase as i wanted an alternative to tights

really lovely soft socks, just perfect for snuggling up in winter or wearing with jeans or skirts.

What a differecne wearing these!Lovely and warm. they stay up above my knee better, with a pair of warm tights on but without tights they only slip down to mid knee cap.I can live with that. I have 2 pairs in navy and purple.

Took a gamble buying a pair as the models wearing them always look so slim, but they fit my slightly chubby legs very well. The photos do not show how pretty these socks are!

I bought these in August, so am keeping them for the cooler weather! However, I am delighted with the softness, colour and appearance of the socks and am almost looking forward to winter as I know they will be so cosy.
