Must be nuts to buy a winter hat this time of year but the offer was too good to miss! Perfect for dog walking on a chilly morning as it will keep my ears warm and so light and comfy to wear.

I bought this hat in the sale. It is a present for my daughter who lives in St Petersburg, Russia. I thought it would be perfect for her as obviously it is very cold there. I believe she will love it as it is beautifully made and I think will be very snug. Lets put it this way if she doesn't want it (I know she will) I will definitely wear it!

Medium size far too small even though my head measurement is well within the stated size. Also rather flimsy - not of Celtic Sheepskin's usual high quality, and definitely not worth the £66 it was supposedly reduced from. Brown not black, so all in all a major disappointment.

absolutely LOVE this hat, i ordered a medium which fits snugly on it is well made and good quality, light and sooo warm, i have never worn a hat as much, would highly reccomend

Yesterday I received my hat. It was send on Monday so again a quick delivery! So welcome because it's very cold in the Netherlands.
About the fitting; as my head is very small, 52 cm, it fits perfect.
There was even a bit of space left and for me the flaps are o.k.
Mayby the quality seems thin but the hat is really warm.
The colour is more like a dark brown, the fur is brown.
As for me it is so difficult to buy a hat that fits, I very happy.
And also because of the sale price!

I have to agree with most of the comments about the fit of this hat- the head size was fine but the flaps came under my nose.I had to return it, but as always have found Celtic very helpful.

lovely hat, but really tight and the colour is brown rather than black. I ordered a large and it's a real squeeze. The ear flaps don't even meet under my chin and I am really not a bighead! Keeping it though, in the hope that it will stretch.

I ordered the medium size but received the small/medium which was far to small for me. Very disappointing that I had to return it but also requested a different design to swap as I was concerned about size and fit for this one

I ordered the medium but the label said S/M. Unfortunately far too small for my head, so had to return. Was surprised at how thin the hat was. Probably would have keep it if it had fitted due to sale price but not at the original price.

Only able to purchase the small to medium size,which although fits, it is a little on the small side. Will be keeping this purchase as its a very warm hat. The colour by the way is brown not black as advertised.

I ordered Medium which was very small. I noticed the label said Small/Medium. Wish I'd orderd a large. With a bit of stretching I managed to get it on and actually it now fits pretty well. It's very warm.

got this hat in the sale. Was a little tight when i first tried it on, but fits like a glove now, my head meaured the medium but i ordered the large after reading another review. very warm even in the high winds. I think this is the best hat i've ever bought, and i've bought a lot for walking the dogs.

Have returned the hat as I couldn't get it on my head despite having a very small head,I ordered medium thinking that large would be far too big as they usually are for me.Shame as I liked the hat.

Trapper hat much thinner than I expected but appears warm enough. Good fit as I have a problem getting a hat big enough.It will be excellent when I go Alberta in October and will take up very little room in my case.

To me Celtic and quality go hand in hand and the trapper hat
fell right into that category. A light weight, stylish, quality piece of head gear that is warm to wear. Well designed and does the job.

Loved the hat . Unfortunately had to be returned as I pulled the thread on the label thinking it would remove just the label but the whole bottom half started to unravel. It would be better if the label was put further inside the hat instead of on show if you have the bottom turned up! Since this hat is unavailable now, it would be great if it could be repaired & returned.

I am happy with the diesel trapper hat, but I am very dissappointed that the day I received it I noticed that you have further reduced the price to £20.00 not £33.00 that I paid!!!

Lovely hat, not as thick as I had anticipated, but that's ok cos it doesn't make my (small) head look out of proportion and is still warm and snuggly; happy that the 'medium' is a little on the 'small' side as I have trouble finding hats that fit my size of head.

Bought this primarily to wear on a trip to the Antartic but have worn it on the island in recent gales and rain and was most inpressed. It stayed put and was lovely and warm so I am sure it will be fine!

I ordered this as the weather was freezing cold and it has not disappointed ! It's a fabulous hat and I'm pleased to say that my hat is more brown than black which matches my new Kensington Ugg boots fantastically ! I am thrilled with it and wear it whenever I go out.
