It's like a small, firm rubberised block, and you literally rub the dirt and marks off your slippers, coat etc. It's quite remarkable really, and definitely worth it.

Ordered this cleaning block to remove any stubborn stains that I might get on my new coat. When the coat arrived the outer was not suede, so I can't use the block on the coat. My previous sheepskin coat I had 30 years ago had a suede finish. However I can use it on my ugg boots.
