The service was excellent, my cardigan arrived very promptly despite it being the peak Christmas delivery period. The cardigan is a lovely quality and very thick but it is huge! I am a standard size 12 but often buy my casual knitwear in a 14 so it has a more relaxed fit. I read the reviews and thought the medium would be fine but it is a 'very' large medium indeed. The sleeves are particularly long, and I have long arms. You can turn back the cuffs but as the wool is quite thick this is not ideal as it makes it very bulky. The cardigan is also very wide, as wide as it is long. Slightly shorter than I had hoped. Am currently torn between returning it for the small - and paying for more postage - or hanging onto the medium and wearing it very oversized. Great cardigan, questionable sizing and fit.

Smaller ladies beware, the small fits like a 12/14, with extremely long sleeves. Only I loved the quality of wool,the feel, look, and wanted a warm chunky cardigan, I would have not spent more money in alterations.

Excellent. I bought the Medium 12/14 and was surprised that it was so roomy. Did think of changing it for the small but then thought it would be great over jumpers in the really cold weather.

Cable Cardigan arrived today - absolutely perfect style. Chose the Wet Slate which is another name for Charcoal, so very pleased with the colour. Next season could we have one in a milk cocoa or milk coffee colour.

I am a size 12 to 14 and found the medium a little too baggy so exchanged it for the small which is a perfect fit for me. Lovely weight, soft wool and looks hand knitted. I may treat myself to the wet slate version later in the Winter.

So pleased with my cardi. I'm a good 12 and ordered medium and it fits pefectly. Roomy just like the picture. I had the wet slate and it really is a lovely colour that will be with anything. I like the V-neck as I like to wear a scarf so it's perfect. Yarn is light and soft, not a heavy cardi and I'm sure will be lovely and warm when the weather turns colder. A classic that I know will last a long time.

I bought the 'Boyfriend' cardi before this a few weeks ago, and decided to treat myself again to this one in wet slate. It's so comfortable and warm and the perfect fit (weirdly, the Boyfriend cardi is very short in the arm, and those of the Cable cardi come right down over my wrists...almost as though the same amount of wool has been used for both, but the Boyfriend got a longer body and the Cable got longer sleeves!)
The buttons being the wrong way round (i.e. man-style left-over-right) is a little annoying.

Excellent service by very pleasant and efficient staff - cardigan arrived promptly and well packed - great fit and
very confortable - warm without being heavy and excellent for cold dry days.
Would be prompted to buy another in maybe a black or a nice pastel colour i.e.
pale blue or a soft pink.

If I could only have one cardigan, this would be it!
Not only is it a work of art but it beautifuly warm yet breathable, a lovely fit and washes well.
I've barely taken it off!

I had good advice before purchsing as to which would be my most suitable size. The cardigan arrived promptly and was well packed.

At first I was surprised at the buttons being on the right front, instead of the usual left for women's garments. Then I noticed that the seaming of the neck band was not at the centre back, as is usual.

However, these two unusual features are no problem at all and I feel they add to the styling.

The cardigan is well made and the wool soft enough to be comfortable, but not so soft as to provoke concerns about how easy it will be to wash it.

I do get quite cold in the winter, and the cardigan is warm as well as attractive, so I am very happy with it.
