Staff at CS gave good advice about sizes and even went to measure some garments for me.Staff were very helpful and I was so pleased when my jumper dress arrived 3 days later. The style and size were perfect but sadly my skin could not tolerate the alpaca wool even when wearing a thick underlayer. Sadly I shall have to return my jumper dress. Can we please have a remake of this style in a softer wool, like the one I bought in navy 2 years ago?

Staff at CS were really helpful about sizes and gave good advice (I am an ample size 16) and I was thrilled when this garment arrived only 3 days later.The size was perfect and the style was exactly right but sadly my skin did not like the high alpaca content in the wool. I tried the dress on with a thicker cotton roll neck tee shirt but still the alpaca bothered me. I tend towards dry/itchy skin but I can wear most wools.So sadly I shall have to send my lovely Cowl dress back.

I LOVE this jumper dress. It's so fun, and a little bit different, and seems to be effortlessly flattering. My only problem is making myself wear anything else.

Love it. Got lots of compliments. It's so lightweight and very comfortable to wear. Ideal with the big cowl for a flat chested skinny lady, to which I added a big celtic broach.

Disappointed with this. Too thin and hung like a sack! It would have been nice had it been made of a much thicker wool.

Really disappointed. I find this very itchy and the collar looks completely wrong - as if I hvae a really large bust just under my neck !!
Really wanted a jumper dress in brown but obviously its not to be.

Was given this dress by my husband and was a little worried beforehand as I usually also go for the 10-12 (I'm 5'6) so feared that the small (8-10) would be too small. However, it fits very well, it's very soft and not at all itchy even if you don't wear long sleeves underneath. A lovely dress, which you can wear in warmer winter weather with a vest top underneath, or with a long sleeved top for colder weather. Definitely recommend it.

Not as soft as I was expecting but not at all itchy. Good length. Will need careful washing - dry flat to avoid the bottom sides becoming wingy.

I got the size medium which is perfect. I am 5ft 11ins and the dress is quite short wouldn't wear it without trousers/leggings. Looks great. Love it.

Agree with previous review. Big difference between the medium and small. One much too big the other snug... but the neckline is lovely and the quality is good so I have kept the small as an oversized sweater.....definitely not a dress!

I was hoping to look low-key chic and different, but as my husband said, 'even if it was the right size, you'd still look like a mad monk'. Not the style for me! As a size 10/12, I sometimes have problems with fit with Celtic clothes being 8/10 or 12/14. The Medium 12/14 I ordered was very generously sized. It is also a surprisingly lightweight, almost gauzy material - which is not a bad thing, but not what I wanted for a northern winter.
