I also love this cardigan, and have worn it often over the last few months (and received many compliments). The medium size I initially ordered was too large so I exchanged it for small, which is a perfect fit, including the length of the sleeves (usually a problem for me having shortish arms!). It looks and feels great. Please please do it in other colours!

This cardigan is just what I have been looking for. After buying (and loving) the sloppy joe jumper I purchased this and find them both warm and comfortable to wear. The cardi is perfect to wear with a dress, as its boxy style gives it a jacket appearance. Also great with trousers. Would like one in another colour.

I bought this cardi before Christmas and have worn it SO much since. It's great quality, the boxy shape suits my height (5ft 3ins) and looks great. I have to wear a coloured top underneath or scarf, otherwise the dark slate colour can be a bit draining with my dark hair and pale skin. Agree with many other reviewers that would definitely buy another if there were other colours - would particularly like a tweedy duck egg blue, or a tweedy cream perhaps. Thanks.

Lovely! I'm usually a size 12, and after reading the comments here I ordered a small size, and it's an excellent fit. Lovely soft wool, too - I'm confident that it's going to be one of my favourites. Very prompt delivery, too - I only ordered it yesterday, so was surprised and pleased when it arrived today.

Lovely cardigan & lovely fit. Was thinking about buying this for a while & I am so glad I finally did. Wore it to work with a white shirt under it & have worn it with jean with a black t-shirt under it. So versatile. If it came in navy blue I would definitely buy it.

Finally treated myself to this cardigan as this style usually suits me. This one is no different. I am 5'4 and 10/12 so went for small as recommended in other reviews. Fits well although would say overall fit in body is generous but that could be because I am not particularly well endowed in the bust department! First purchase from Celtic and pleased with product as have struggled to find a warm cardi in the shops this winter.

Have wanted to buy this cardigan for ages and decided to order as reviews were good and rightly so. This cardigan is lovely, the colour cannot be appreciated fully on the website - it really is a slate colour with a slight tweed effect.
A great fit, I took size small, as advised by some, I am 12/14. I like the short length. Good quality too.

Absolutely love this cardigan. I wasn't sure about the colour from the picture on the website, but thought I'd risk buying it regardless.
The style and fit and length are just perfect, it is definitely a wardrobe favourite now and I'll probably wear it until it literally falls to bits.

I liked the look and colour of the cardigan, the kind of wool it was made of and also the fact that it was short. So often I can find cardigans that I like but they are far too long. It was nice to see that perhaps shorter people were being provided for (after all it is the only short cardi I saw in your catalogue). I ordered this cardigan last year but it was very tight on the shoulder seams. Loved it though, and thought I'd give it another go. This time it fits perfectly: perhaps a different knitter? So if you're disappointed, reorder it and it could be a better fit

A Fabulous cardigan! I bought this cardy last year and wore it to death. Sadly, I got careless and shrank it but I'd loved it so much I bought it again this year! If anything, it's even better this time as the neck is smaller and makes it a more comfortable fit.

A nice, short, boxy cardigan cum jacket made from lovely soft wool that doesn't make you itch! Really pleased with this and it's a versatile colour. Can be worn casual or tidy. I went for a medium (I'm a generous size 16) and it's a perfect fit.

I really loved the look of this cardigan but the medium was too small (short in the arms, slightly pinched look) and the large was way too large! I think it may be me. I am a 14-16 because of broad shoulders - suspect the problem is me, not the cardigan. Gorgeous colour and feel but both sizes have had to be returned.

I like to have a spare button or two, you tell me it just doesn't come with spares. Oh dear.

I love the jumper though it is a rather big fit. I think it's excellent value for money - you'd pay this for many acrylic fashion items which will look rubbish after a few washes, but this jumper looks like it should look good for years.

I have just received my cardi and I am very pleased with it. I will wear it with jeans at the week-end as well as with my silk grey and blue skirt for work. It is quite chunky and warm, so I expect that I will wear it mainly as a jacket. I love the texture and the colour, but it would be nice to have more colours on offer, such as fashionable camel or toffee colour.

I'm really pleased thus chunky cardigan. I am a size 14 but bought the large size because I wanted it to look - well- chunky. Looks good over a roll neck or a silk blouse. Wore it last week but had to take it off because it was too hot! (after this summer- unbelievable ). Roll on winter I say.

This is very stretchy. I ordered a medium and,even with my large bust, it looked huge on me. I have sent it back for a small which I hope will fit better. Apart from the size, it was a lovely soft knit and I'm looking forward to getting my replacement

Love it! It's lovely quality and I can see I shall wear it for years - instantly a favourite item. Before I ordered, I compared it to similar in High Street, cardies that look the same but are actually made in China and made of an acrylic mix, so I'm so pleased this is British made and real wool. It's also a pretty good price I think. If anything I think it is even nicer than on the website photo - love it!

Delighted with the cardigan. Telephoned to check sizing before ordering and was advised cardigan was quite roomy so ordered small and it is a perfect fit. Really good quality and love the buttons. Looks and feels good.

I loved this cardigan from the moment it arrived. Perfect fit and has been much admired. I have had mine for over a year and I'm hardly ever without it in winter. I have washed it several times on the “Hand Wash” cycle in my washing machine and it's been fine. It would be lovely if we could have it in some other colours too. For me it's been good value for money.

When I took this out of the box I thought it looked lovely, and it is very comfortable to wear. Tt is a shame that the sleeves are a little short to make it snug for a winter sweater. Also the seams were not finished off properly and I had to pull a few threads through to the wrong side before wearing. I shall wash it carefully as I feel the wool is not too stable. It might be best to put the price up a few pounds so the sleeves are not skimped on. My neighbour had the same trouble with a coat.
