So glad I bought this one. The 'cloud' colour is just so pretty - a soft blue, much prettier than in the picture. The fit (small for a size 10 person) is super and the style a little bit different and very nice. The wool is, however a little bit coarser than on some of the other Celtic jumpers, so not advisable to wear it right next to your skin.

Very comfortable, fashionable, unusual design. The best thing is the long sleeves as too often the sleeves are a little short and spoil the look and fit.

A very classy jumper in my favourite colour. It teams so well with leggings or trousers and looks particularly good with the plaid scarf I bought recently too. Not washed it yet, but I am sure if I follow the instructions carefully it will be fine. One slight caution - because it is pure wool the neck line rubs a little. Tucking a scarf inside soon remedies it though.

Totally agree on the itchy wool aspect, it is rather coarse and doesn't fall quite as well as the photo implies. However having read previous feedback pre-purchase I'm relatively satisfied, after all it's not made in england and wasn't marketed as soft. Size fits fine I'm often a 10-12 but ordered the 12-14 as wanted a loose fit. Nice and warm!

'this item has been treated to give it a super-soft feel' is very misleading - as is the image - which makes the jumper look very soft, pliant and comfortable. In reality, it is very coarse and hard on the skin and I have returned it straight away. Need to be more accurate with descriptions as returns cost me £9 in P&P/recorded delivery!

I sadly had to return this jumper today. Lovely colour but very rough wool. Been a bit spoilt by the lovely soft jumper dresses that i've bought from Celtic Sheepskin and just expected this to be softer.

I'm wearing this now - fantastic (like all Celtic Sheepskin products) for the cold weather. Mine is exactly as described and pictured and is lovely and warm. The only negative is that the knit is fairly coarse, making it a bit itchy, but this is taken care of by wearing something underneath.

This doesn't look much like the one in the photo - it is a much lighter grey and the one in the picture looks more like taupe. Fit is ok but it is just not the sweater I was expecting.

there are varying reports on this item.The one i purchased is 100% wool and the sizing (small}is perfect.i usually find sizing is generous but on this occasion just right.love the pockets

replacement arrived and is now a different mix and a different colour- now 100% wool, not 75 wool and 25 silk! Very sad to have to return this one too but wonderful customer service!

Jumper arrived - beautiful but HUGE!!! I'm a 14 and the medium was way too big in every way - have ordered smaller size, so just hope it's ok as I'm really looking forward to wearing it! Watch this space....

This lovely jumper arrived yesterday and is a bit larger than I expected despite the “slouch” style expected. I have yet to decide whether I might have to return it for a smaller size. Otherwise it seems a great buy.

I was very disappointed in this jumper, I love celtic knitwear and always look forward to their autumn catalogue. I thought this was going to be a fine cosy knit but when I received it the knit was much chunkier and coarser than shown in the picture. I still love the design and would have kept it if I hadn't felt it would stretch to my knees with the first wash!

[Hi Alison. The Silk/Wool mix is a new yarn for us this year. It has a dry, soft handle which will, certainly when compared to a Geelong item, feel courser, but should not be itchy when worn. It is still 75% wool, so there will be a certain amount of thickness to it, but the silk is used to offset this and reduce the weight and chunkiness.

We have checked the supplied goods against the supplier?s sample and it is as expected. There?s certainly no reason to believe it would stretch when washed.]
