Have had my boots for a week now and love them. Was a little worried reading the feedback whether they would be too tight etc, but ordered my normal size and they were fine, definitely get more comfy with a couple of wears and think they have to be as they are else would too loose after a while...love the colour and they are soft and warm. Only problem is now they are added to my collection of other sheepskin boots and the addiction gets worse! :)

This is my second pair of Knee High Celt Boots. My husband bought me a pair in Mocca for christmas 2010. I bought the Black last week. They are so comfortable and very stylish. I also have a pink pair of Classic boots and House Boots. Was introduced to Celt boots by my daughter 4 years ago. We have this conversation every year sometime in September " Oh good, bit nippy isn't it. Time to wear the Celt Boots?". Then they don't come off all winter. Great Product for which we are truly grateful.

I take size 7 ordered the boots could not get my feet in them cost me £10 to send back recorded delivery due the cost of the item did not want them to get lost in the post. Ordered size 8 now stil tight but have decided to keep as can't be bothered returning to them again for another £10 think returns policy is poor but gradually getting used to boots think there size guide needs to be looked at though. Currently wearing without socks but can't wear over jeans/leggings.

Pure heaven for feet and calves! I have the knee-length ones and have been so reluctant to take them off at bed-time as they are so warm and comfortable. Beautifully made and beautifully warm - especially at this time of year. Also find that if feet are warm, everything else follows! Well done Celtic Sheepskin - these are worth every penny - and actually I think are v good value (I've seen fake sheepskin boots for much the same price).

I received these boots a week ago, after wanting them for ages. When I first tried them on they felt perfect but after wearing them for a few days they now slip off my heels when I walk making it uncomfortable. I am size 6.5-7 but bought a size 7 as I always would in boots so they are comfortable with socks. I am really disappointed as they are such lovely boots so I would strongly recommend going a size smaller if you are in-between sizes!

Although the quality of these boots is excellent I am unhappy at the way they have gone baggy almost instantly around the ankles. Also I am a size 5.5 to 6.00 and after sending back a six because it was too big I have received a size five which is lifting up at the heel when I walk. I've bought the knee high boots.

My home has earth floors which are covered with quarry tiles and is heated by a lovely toasty solid fuel stove which runs the central heating, but in the winter the floors, though carpeted over the quarry tiles can be really cold and of course the fire breaths and so pulls in cold air from outside; so my feet are always chilly!

Not any more, I'm pleased to say! My new boots are absolutely brilliant: I wear them both inside and out; I can't get enough of them. They really are very warm and snug; and so comfortable to wear.

Over the years I've drooled over these boots regretting how expensive they are, but this year I've taken the plunge; and I'm so pleased that I have, they're a true investment. Thank you Nick and Kath

Bought the Mocha Toscana last winter and the Celt Knee boots this winter. Always buy my normal size(4)and they fit perfectly - but I never wear socks with them. Lovely boots, go on treat yourself you know your worth it!!

Best Christmas present ever! I find it so hard to find boots that don't flop around my twiggy, skinny little legs; these fit perfectly. They are divinely warm, cosy and comfortable and it's so nice to have a pair of boots that are so long in the leg (I'm 5'9”). Sizing - I am a largeish size seven and would say that the boots are true to size, but although the slim, snug leg fit is good for me, I just can't see how they would fit anyone with even slightly chunky calves. Great for skinnies though - I never want to take them off!

One of my work colleagues has been buying your boots and coats for some time and telling me how warm the boots kept her feet.

I was delighted when I found out that you do size 9, a difficult size to find so I ordered a pair of your boots which arrived on Tuesday. I worn them all day Wednesday my legs and feet where warm as toast I was relctant to take them off when I got home. I look forward to the really cold weather as I now know that my feet and legs will be warm

Celtic Knee Boots - Size 7/40.
I'd never heard of Celtic Boots until I stopped someone in a shopping centre in Birmingham and told her I'd fallen in love with her boots and wanted to know where they were from!
I've worn Emu Boots for years and LOVE them because they are much slimmer in the leg than Ugg boots. What I liked about the Celtic Boots when I saw the lady wearing them is that they looked slimmer in the leg... and they are! Perfectly so..
I have wide feet and a size 41. I did call Celtic for their advice and they did recommend buying 'true to your size'. However, after buying Emu's in a 41 and them stretching I decided to get the Celtics in a size 7/40. They are a perfect fit! I am 5ft 11 tall so really liked the idea of the 'knee boot'. They probably come to about 5cm below my knee which is perfect!
I'm absolutely thrilled with them. Totally love them and can't recommend them highly enough. And I haven't even been out in them yet!!

Bought these 2 seasons ago. I use a spray protector regularly & brush using a suede brush - they look as good as new & I believe will last forever. Very stylish & comfortable, highly recommended. By the way my advice is order true to size.

Fantastic boots, comfortable and warm. Perfect for the current weather!
I would recommend to buy in your actual size because it might feel a bit snug to start with but the wool is soon pressed down to leave more space for the feet. As soon as I received them I treated them with the spray protector to ensure a good waterproofing.

Just received my boots and haven't taken them off. Superbly comfortable - I have real problems with my feet and can't bear anything too heavy to carry around on them all day, these boots are really light and soft. I phoned to find out about sizing and the chap I spoke to advised a larger size than my normal 8 because I have to use orthotics. I was a bit apprehensive about going for a 9, but very glad I did. I would advise going for a size bigger than normal.

I was too late to buy the Julie/julia/judith boots which I fancied for a change, so decided to stick with what I know. Just ordered my second pair in Mocca...My first pair in Spice were purchased in 2005 and are still going strong. I machine wash them 3 or 4 times a year, wear them about 6 months of the year (almost every day) and they don't look their age. Soles are still in great shape, too. Why'd I buy a second pair? They are my favorite, live-in,can't be without, comfy-cozy, absolute favorite footwear! If I'm not in these, I'm in Birkenstocks.

I have received, very efficiently, the knee high boots, oh joy to reach my knees rather than flapping around my calves, nice as they are , of course in my opinion, I like them to be warm. The boots fit beautifully and snuggly and can't now wait for the chilly weather so I can look snug and smug!!

I ordered these boots and they arrived 2 days later. Suffering from raynaurds I NEVER have warm feet, until this morning! My only disappointment is I had to take them off when I got home, I may be investing in some house boots yet! So comfortable and fit my slim legs but room for wider legs too as the wool will crush.

Have had the boots in Spice for a while now, loved them so much I had to have them in Black for this year.
Bought my daughter a pair in Spice last xmas and she also loves them.
I like the fact that they can be sent back and re-soled when needed.

I had been searching for warm, practical but good looking winter boots for some time. When the catalogue arrived I compared prices with other brands. Ugg boots were more expensive and didn't do knee lenghth, others had synthetic linings. I chose the black pair. They look good with skirts or skinny jeans. The soles are well made with a good tread. Hopefully I can now stay upright in bad weather now.

Since 2004 I have bought about 9 pairs of Celtic sheepskin boots .I love love love them I bought my second pair of knee boots today in spice . They wash really well and wear well ,they keep there structure at the heel unlike other brands and are also a little cheaper. I get so many lovely comments when wearing my boots. I think they are the best sheepskin boots by far.

Great value for money, lovely boots. If you roll the top right down to the foot they are just like the £250 Uggs new out this year - 2 looks for the price of 1.

I am usually a 5, but ordered a 6 as my mum went up a size when she bought some last year. So if you are unsure which size to go for go up a bit ! Not desperately full on the calf, but for me that is great and don't forget, they will give with wear. Roll on the cold weather!

Love them, tempted to buy another pair in a different colour. Length is great, yes they are tight but I do have big calves and was able to get them on. I think after a while they may give a little do that I can wear my skinny jeans with them and not just my tights.

Am really delighted with these boots. I bought the black, as I already have the Toscana in brown, which I love. TheCelt knee boots fit beautifully. I am 5 4” with thinnish legs and usually find high boots too full on the leg. These are beautifully comfortable I ordered a size 5, and I am waiting for some cold weather to wear them! I also think they are terrific value!

Love the boots - bought some Toscana boots in 2007 and they have served me well for the last 3 hard winters! Was a bit worried about how tight they would having read previous reviews but they were fine after wearing round the house for an hour - look great and make my legs look slim.

Have just received my first pair of these boots and like some people have already mentioned I was concerned that with my very thin legs the boots wouldn't stay up but they are absolutely brilliant and as I'm 5'4 the knee length for some reason doesn't make me look any less taller as some flats. Bought Mocca last year and Spice this year. These are chic, warm and superbly made boots. My Mocca ones are in fabulous condition even though they have been through the rains and snows of a bleak Welsh winter. I will never wear leather boots having gotten used to the sheer luxury and comfort of sheepskin.

Before I purchased my Celt Knee Boots I telephoned the Company because I have a very high instep and this is sometimes a problem with boots. I was reassured that if there was a problem they would refund fully. The boots arrived and I am thrilled with them - for any other people with high insteps it's not a problem they fit perfectly and are so comfortable, I am almost looking forward to winter weather.

I am an avid Ugg wearer, and thought I'd try these as they come higher up the leg than Uggs, plus I liked the fact that they are British. I can't recommend them enough, they hug the leg nicely, are comfortable, the quality is every bit as good as the Ugg sheepskin - in short, I'm thrilled, and at a good price point too. in 1998 , when you were quite young , i believe, i found you at the back of Newquay, and discovered a treasure. No pirates here!! Those jolly boots, i bought, wouldnt , have NOT, worn out , maybe the leather has a tad,( they were leather high brown boots)but are still useful in garden ..but for The LOOK , the new Black suede and Mocha suede are PERFECT . Look GREAT, i know they will last, THATS A FACT, so good to wear, comfy , fashionable -VERY- and what a deal..what more can i say..just keep going strong. THANKS !!! I bought these boots for my daughter's birthday as I had just bought myself a pair of the Aqualamb boots and was extremely happy with them. Although she is very pleased with them, and they are exactly what she wanted, we are both disappointed with the sole. Compared to the Aqualamb boots, I feel the sole is more suited for a slipper!
We ordered these boots on the Monday and they were with us here in France by Thursday! great service - Thank you.

These boots are fantastic. I was slightly worried by the previous reviews about the boots being too tight around the calf, and when they arrived I thought my fears had been justified...however after just 10 mins lounging around the house they had moulded to my legs and are really comfy. I was also slightly worried that at 5'4” I'd be to short for these boots, however they are a perfect fit (and I can always roll down the tops to make them slightly shorter). Excellent boots and excellent customer service as always. Thank you!

These boots are beautiful - snug, stylish and comfootable. BUT, they really don't last. I've been through two pairs and each has only lasted one winter (admittedly worn very regularly, and with great joy!). My first pair went from snug to huge over six months, to the extent that I gave them to my size 8 foot friend to wear (I'm a 6). The second faded from black to mucky grey. I just dyed them (following instructions - 30 wash, used celt detergent, etc) and they shrunk two foot sizes. I've re-wet and dried them three times now and every time I can get the on wet, but not dry- and when putting them on wet the final time the sheepskin has ripped down the seams making them unwearable unless I cut the tops off. I'm now in a quandry - do I buy another pair (I have my eye on the spice!), knowing I will be blissfully happy for one winter - or do I spend my £170 on something I will like less that will last longer? :(

Received these promptly. I ordered them because I've found it difficult to get full length boots, sheepskin boots being mainly mid-calf, and not always flattering. These are lovely, and I do have muscle'y calves being a runner, but had no problem with these. They are snug, but not uncomfortable, and would recommend them to my friends.

I have been desperately looking out for a pair of shoes which would be warm, comfortable and durable for the upcoming winter, which is why I was so excited to find these boots and read their sparkling reviews. However I have had to return these boots for the simple fact that they are RIDICULOUSLY TIGHT!!!! I am by no means overweight (I'm a UK clothes size 10, slim by most people's definition!) yet these boots basically cut off the blood supply to my legs! No way would I have been able to wear them with jeans! I tried to wear them in for a day or two but they were still far too tight. Baring in mind the amount of money they're asking for these boots, the least they could do would be to use enough material so that the average sized woman can wear them! However, the sheepskin was very cosy and the actual foot part was comfortable. My advice would be only buy these boots if you have very - and I mean VERY - slim legs, and I think that the tightness of the boot should be advertised more in the catalogue and online to avoid disappointment.

I bought these boots with a little bit of worry having read the comments about needing skinny calves to get them on. I would have to say to these people, persevere. These boots were delivered on saturday and I put them on, i do not have skinny anything, let alone calves.I pulled them up and wiggled into them and I continued wearing them and after a couple of days they now slide over my calves, the sheepskin inner fits itself to the shape of your legs and feet. I love them, am now rooting through to see what other boots on the site I will be buying next.

Beautifully made and mould to you very quickly when worn. Even when it was really cold during the winter I rarely wore socks with them. Worth every penny.

I totally agree with another of your reviewers Meike Bruhns - I took my boots to Estonia and walked out into the street on day one and fell flat on my face. I would consider them to be quite dangerous in the snow and a warning should be attached to your product description to that end. I am very disappointed indeed. As they are not cheap.

alright, the boots are warm and comfy and all, but people, what's with the soles????
I tried walking outside in the snow once and fell flat on my face after the first step because the soles have NO TRACTION whatsoever.

so now it's -11 degrees celscius outside and I own a very expensive pair of slippers because I can't take them outside.

I would not buy them again!!!!

Bought these in the mocha in my usual size 4 and they are a perfect fit. Nice and slim on the leg and they don't make your feet look twice the size they actually are! I'm absolutely thrilled with them. Comfortable, cosy, stylish, versatile and excellent quality. I think they will have to be surgically removed come summer!

Fabulous, really warm and cosy but look a lot more stylish and sophisticated than the regular length boot. I'm quite tall and so the longer length boot doesn't cut up my legs as much as previous boots have done, also look good with skirts and thick tights just as much as they do with jeans. Really thrilled and tempted to buy another pair!

I absolutely love these boots. I have them in the black. They are quite slim-fitting on the leg, so if you are a lady with larger calves, this style might not be for you. My calves are 32-cm (12.5-in) around the thickest part and these boots leave about an extra inch of room around the leg. For me, having skinny calves, these boots are a dream! These are my third pair of Celtic Sheepskin boots and, definitely, not the last. I completely adore the craftsmanship and ethos of this fabulous company. And, I eagerly await more styles...in a deep rich mulberry shade, perhaps?

After buying a pair of Celtic Sheepskin boots for my daughter last Christmas, I knew I would be purchasing a pair for myself. I wore these for the first time yesterday. I've had these boots for almost two years and have worn them non-stop - save for a couple of months in the “summer”! They are the most comfortable boots I have owned ever and the cosiest. Even on the coldest of days my feet are toasty warm. I never wear socks with them and as a result, have really soft smooth feet thanks to the natural oils in the fleece. A wonderful purchase, well worth the money and great service too from a super company! Can definitely recommend!
