This coat is beautiful and an excellent buy. I decided to write a review because of the comments left by Jane Slade. Obviously I can only speak from my own experience but as her review had delayed my purchase of this coat for a while I felt I should address some of the points she raised. I consider the fleece inside this sheepskin coat to be well represented by the pictures. The entire coat is exactly as illustrated which is not a comment I would automatically extend to all of Celtic Sheepskin?s knitwear. The colour of the wool if stroked in the opposite direction does vary slightly in different lights but undisturbed it lies beautifully smoothly and is dense and obviously of high quality. The arms of the coat are very long on me and I have had to fold them back and under to get the cuffs to look the right proportions and yet even though I have changed the original folds there are no ingrained fold marks in the sheepskin. The edge of the coat is stitched so that the fleece still shows when the coat is buttoned. This extends the line of the shawl collar through the whole of the front of the coat and is a really classy element of the design. The coat looks fabulous buttoned or unbuttoned and the slightly nipped in waist helps to accentuate feminine curves. It is extremely warm and comfortable whilst being surprisingly light; it is also amazingly soft on both the hide and wool sides. This coat looks good both dressed up and down and so will get a lot of use and not just be saved for ?best;? it also will not date quickly because the style is classic and timeless. You might have rightly guessed that I love this coat. The moment I put it on I know I was going to keep it. I consider it a worthwhile investment, far better than any number of cheaper coats that I could buy but never love or enjoy to the same extent. My only sadness is that I postponed buying it. Please don?t make the same mistake, if it speaks to you ? listen.

Thankfully I managed to buy the shawl coat ! Susan Savage has this shawl collar coat and it looks amasing on her ! so obviously I am so pleased with mine - thanks for such a prompt delivery, I could not believe I received it the next day - Many thanks.

I was surprised to experience a delivery problem, with the courier service and not Celtic I should add. Following the tracking service I discovered that the coat was sent promptly and took only 12 hours to get from Cornwall to Wales only to be 'stuck' in the local depot for three days. I phoned Celtic who were very helpful and sympathetic to assist and we discovered the couriers couldn't trace my address which is rubbish as the details were accurate and they'd delivered to me previously. In the end I decided to collect from the depot myself as it was only a 10 minute drive away. I later got a phone call from a Director at Celtic to apologise for any inconvenience and to say that the cost of delivery had been reimbursed. What service! The coat is lovely. Good quality skins, exactly as illustrated and well worth the wait. I love this style because it's classic and unlikely to date. Looks great with my Celtic biker boots and jeans but 'dressy' enough for an evening out with smart clothes.

I too had to wait for this coat but it was well worth it. It's very light and soft, but more importantly very warm. It's certainly an investment!

I was very disappointed with this coat. The fur was not as shown in the picture. The pelt did not lay smoothly and in certain lights looked much lighter, almost orange. Add to that a fold mark in both cuffs which did not look like it was going to come out and the lower front of the coat rolling outwards when buttoned this has been a very expensive mistake. Postage with insurance has cost £27.00 in total. I will be very reluctant to order from Celtic Sheepskin again.

This is the most beautiful coat - I was a little concerned that it would be heavy but it is not at all and is really comfortable to wear. Thank you so much for your efforts regarding delivery next day (?) - not your fault but resolved by you very quickly.

I am so pleased with my Shawl Collar coat and it was definitely worth the wait. The feel of it is gorgeous and it is so lovely to wear - warm but not too heavy. I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in buying one.

I am also very pleased with the sleeveless cowl jumper dress and the hooded bodywarmer which I recently bought from you.

One thing to mention, my partner would be very keen to see a larger range for men.

Well worth the overly long wait (due to problems with the skin suppliers). Looks and feels absolutely gorgeous. Even my 21 year old daughter is hassling to borrow it!
