I wanted to wear this coat for a few weeks before writing a review but am happy to say I am so very pleased with my purchase! :0) It was a lot of money for a coat and I wanted to be sure that it was worth it and that the coat would last. I am so pleased with it on so many levels, not least an ethical one; I do believe that if we are to sacrifice an animal for meat, then we shouldn't waste any of it, and I feel that I can wear real fur with a free conscience in that sense. The real fur also has warmth properties that man-made fibres cannot fully replicate, so it is super warm. The outside of the coat feels incredibly soft, almost buttery if that makes sense? Some reviews suggested the sleeves were a little too short when turned back, but they are fine for me. In terms of length, I am 5' 4” and the coat length is perfect for me (I like them quite long). I also discovered a little button right at the top which closes the neck line and holds the hood in closer. I use this all the time. The other buttons are quite hard to do up/ un-do, but this is only a very minor point and the button holes may stretch slightly with more use. All in all, if you want to buy a coat that (I suspect) will last you a lifetime if well looked after, and which looks a million dollars, then this is it! It elicits so many favourable comments from people and whilst expensive as a single purchase, over the lifetime of the coat, I suspect it is probably quite reasonable. Thank you Celtic for a superb product! Just need to try and get my husband into slippers now!! ;0)

This is surely the greatest coat ever made! The quality is outstanding - quite unbeatable and it looks just gorgeous! I am so very lucky that my husband bought this for me for Christmas - he says I look like a countess in it and bought me a tiara to complete the look! It is so warm that I have to go outside the shops to cool down!!

This coat is amazing, so beautiful and the fur on the one I ordered has a slightly lilac taupe colour which is very complimentary to the brown suede. Also I was lucky enough to benefit from the 15% discount on offer at the time of purchase.

This is a beautiful coat and I just love it. My husband bought it for my birthday after I pointed it out on line unfortunately he is not computer literate and placed the order by phone. I was extremely dissapointed to discover that he did not benefit from the 15% discount offered on line. I have bought a number of things over the years from Celtic and did find this upsetting.

This is a beautiful coat. The cut is extremely flattering and the pelts used are beautiful and soft and wonderful to wear. I ordered the size up as recommended by previous reviewers and it fitted very well. I have held onto it for over a day to persuade myself that it suits me, but it does not. The colour of the fur is wwong against my skin, so alas, I have had to return it. Celtic Sheepskin if you ever make it with a creamy coloured fur then I would buy it instantly.

The coat was lovely and warm, but agreed with previous comments that the sleeves were short when the cuffs were turned back. Also, for me, the colour of the fur was not quite right: in the catalogue it looks more ash coloured, whereas in real life it's more like the internet version (a sort of yellow/cream colour) which doesn't look right on me. Sadly I've returned it, but was impressed by Customer Service.

I did change to a larger size, i must admit its the best coat i have and warm to. so far it has not been cold enough so looking foward to next week as the forcast is getting colder.Yuor staff have been so helpfull when i changed it.

I love the coat , colour , fit , but like one other customer found the hood when down hangs , I am thinking of trying to have a loop and button fixed to hold in place, otherwise very satisfied.

Only bought this coat last week in Slate, so haven't had the opportunity to wear it yet, however when it arrived in the office everyone was speechless, it is beautiful. Sleeves could do with being a slightly longer if you want to wear the cuffs turned back and although I normally wear a size 12 felt it could have been a little bit larger to allow for thicker clothes underneath. Can't wait to wear it.

What a beautiful soft coat with a flattering fit. It has a couple of features that stop it from being perfect (the hood won't stay up when you walk and the sleeves are a bit short when turned back) but in every other way it is quite lovely.

This is the ultimate in indulgence! I've got it in slate - it's a beautiful colour, the fur is so soft and the whole thing incredibly supple. I'm crossing my fingers for another cold winter because I want to wear it all the time! The only (very) minor point is that if you wear it with the cuffs turned back it makes the sleeves a little bit on the short side, but quite frankly I'm happy to put up with that in order to wear this utterly amazing coat.
