We are all familiar with the health and environmental benefits of organically grown food, but what about the clothes we wear? Non-organic cotton is one of the most intensively farmed crops in the world and accounts for one quarter of global pesticide use.
(Source: PAN-UK) Our organic tees are available in a choice of colours and styles to suit all shapes and tastes, there really is no reason why you can't be stylish, comfortable and guilt free! |
We have recently signed up to Parcel Force's Carbon Neutral Delivery Service, which allows Companies to compensate for their CO2 emissions by investing in environmental organisations or projects such as wind farms, solar installations or other energy efficiency projects, or through activities such as planting trees.
Our new catalogue has been printed on FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified paper thereby supporting the growth of responsible forest management worldwide.
Our premises in Newquay combine the Factory, Warehouse and Offices where we actively promote recycling; we use recycled boxes, tissue and void fill when packing products, all of which are compostable; we recycle paper, card, pallets, tins, plastics, ink and toner cartridges, catalogues and magazines. Many of our staff live locally and are able to walk or cycle to work and when a business trip is necessary, we choose to travel by train.
The Celtic Sheepskin Company are working towards their objective of minimizing their impact on the environment - to prove that it is possible to produce excellent products, at reasonable prices, with a clear conscience.
