FURRY FILM 'WILL MAKE SHOPPERS SEEK SHEEPSKIN CLOTHING'

Where the Wild Things are has once again been cited as an inspiration for people to shop for sheepskin clothing.

Following a piece published on the Cool Hunting website earlier this month which suggested Ugg style boots and other items could be popular following the film's release, In This Week's Krista Nielson has agreed.

Having been released in the US on October 16th and coming to UK theatres on December 11th, the movie follows a young boy named Max who befriends a bunch of particularly furry monsters.

Ms Neilson admits the Maurice Sendak book on which the screenplay is based is one of her all-time favourites, adding the influence it will have on shoppers is set to be interesting.

"Want Max's iconic wolf suit complete with woolly-eared hood and fuzzy tail?," she asked. "I do, it looks so comfy, snuggly and cosy."

Cool Hunting noted in its recent article that the Spike Jonze-directed motion picture could see the streets "look a little furrier this winter".
