CHILDREN'S ETHICAL CLOTHING 'SHOULD BE LAYERED'
Parents preparing their kids for the return to school should ensure they consider layering, ethical clothing fans may be interested to hear.
Karen Richter, an industry guru, tells metronews.ca that this is the period when many children get excited about buying their new school clothes.
She suggests that this technique will allow kids to make the most of their wardrobe and respond well to changeable weather conditions.
"[Layering lets] kids stay warm, but can also easily shed pieces once inside," she says.
Ms Richter tells the news provider that it is important to draw up a shopping list rather than buying on impulse.
Industry guru Suzanne Timmins adds that parents buying for girls should also prioritise layering.
In other news, Hippy Shopper has claimed that layering is one of the hottest autumn trends of the year.
The magazine suggests it can allow people to make the perfect transition between seasons, while allowing them to respond rapidly to changes in the weather.
