LAYERING ETHICAL CLOTHING 'WILL BE BIG THIS AUTUMN'
Ethical clothing lovers will be layering more frequently as autumn begins to unfold, an expert asserts.
Marques Harper, writing for Statesman.com, claims that the best elements of the 80s have been refined and reintroduced as this season's fashions, highlighting men's knitwear as one of the looks growing in popularity.
He says that item such as sweaters, vests, cardigans and v-necks are becoming more popular, with tailored items proving particularly attractive.
"When it comes to fashion, there's absolutely nothing like the start of autumn. Fall is about layering your look and giving your outfits just the right dose of drama," he states.
Mr Harper says this seasons' new lines give him chills each time he walks into a shop, with its new style offerings all forming part of a broader trend towards the wearer controlling their look.
Ethical clothing fans building up a big collection should ensure their home insurance policy covers this, as new research by Hiscox has suggested that many people fail to take the cost of replacing these items into account.
