WRITER DISCUSSES DESIRE FOR 'CASUAL, ETHICAL CLOTHING'
A new article has looked at the number of ethical and organic clothing options available to people looking to spruce up their wardrobe.
Emma Grady said in a recent piece for the treehugger website that having recently purchased a new jacket, her attention has now turned to a selection of other items.
She cites "casual and comfortable" clothing designed using "sustainable and certified organic fabrics
made in fair-trade factories" as among them, but adds these should also be modern in style.
Colours for the upcoming season noted include "tan, white, shell, pebble, grey, brown, pale peach [and] plum".
Earlier this month, the sites Meaghan O'Neill recalled a promise she made to herself two years ago to only buy clothing that was able to boast environmentally-friendly credentials.
She explained that this has been easier to adhere to than she thought thanks to the "quality and selection of green fashion that's become available recently".
