DELICATE MENS JUMPERS 'NEED CAREFUL TREATMENT WHEN CLEANING'
Delicate clothing such as mens jumpers made from pure wool cannot be treated in the same way as other garments and need to be cleaned with "extreme care".
This is according to an article by Denise Henderson published on Helium, in which she offers advice for those who want to keep their mens jumpers looking as good as possible.
She urged guys to wash delicate items by hand, but noted it is possible to use the spin cycle on a washing machine to remove excess water from pure wool garments.
Ms Henderson also promoted the use of clothes airers for drying off the items, describing them as "marvellous inventions".
"Many clothes airers have a shelf that will pull out and lay flat," she observed, commenting these are ideal for drying woollen clothing.
The advice may be useful to a considerable number of males this winter, as mens knitwear was recently identified by Cincinnati.com's Jill Haney as being a key style trend for the colder months.
