EARTHY COLOURS 'KEY FOR COUNTRY CLOTHING THIS AUTUMN'
Deep earthy colours are among the key fashion trends for autumn 2009, a commentator asserts, which could interest country clothing fans.
Vikram Kuamr, an industry guru, claims that the Child of the Forest trend will be one of the characteristic looks for this season and will take its inspiration from nature.
Among the colours that will be used throughout this season are browns and greens, he says, although splashes of brighter shades are likely to be used, country clothing fans could be interested to discover.
Patterns such as plaid and tartan could be used to offset the greens and browns, completing the colour palette, he states.
Mr Kuamr says: "For trendy apparel accessories, this trend is all about wood and leather, and beads and scarves are a must. Where prints appear, this trend is all about animal motifs, usually with a twist."
Among the other big trends this autumn will be Ugg style boots, with the Examiner's Mae Johnson predicting that all boots will gain in popularity this season.
