JULIEN MACDONALD: MENS JUMPERS ARE A WARDROBE STAPLE
Males might consider investing in a mens jumper, following the advice of fashion designer Julien Macdonald.
In a piece for the Daily Telegraph, Macdonald gave tips to men who want to look well-groomed and stylish.
"Try to have some staples in your wardrobe that you know look good - a smart tailored coat, a beautiful cashmere jumper and Italian leather shoes are all timeless," he suggested.
And he said the key to looking good in any outfit is to have confidence.
This applies even when wearing the most casual of ensembles, with the designer citing the example of jeans, which he stated should be selected to have exactly the right cut and shape.
Alongside a great wardrobe, men should pay attention to their grooming habits and spend the right amount of time and money on doing this, he added.
A recent article in The BG News noted all men should own a jumper for autumn and winter, because the pieces can be layered to create warmth.
