KNITWEAR 'GREAT FOR LAYERING'
Knitwear separates can be great layering options during the cool winter months, according to a department store manager.
Kathy Jensen, a Dillard's store manager in Flagstaff, Arizona, commented to the Arizona Daily Sun that layers are a particularly good option for men and can come in all forms - hats, jumpers, gloves and other items that can be mixed and matched.
She suggested that the best way to pull off the trend is for men to invest in some separates, which can then be combined in various ways depending on the occasion and the wearer's personality.
"It's always nice for a gentleman to have a coat and sweater that he can mix and match with a jacket," she explained.
Argyle is a popular option when it comes to men's knitwear this season, according to another store manager.
Jennifer Mitchell of Jos A Bank told the Chattanooga Times Free Press that "men of all ages" can wear the trend, which looks best when paired with a shirt and tie.
