MEN COULD KEEP COOL IN SUSTAINABLE MATERIALS THIS SUMMER
Men may opt for garments made from a sustainable material in order to stay cool in the summer heat.
This could be particularly useful for those who have to wear smart clothing for work, according to Charlie Porter of the Daily Telegraph.
"The uncomfortable days of suit-wearing in summer heat can continue into September," he explains.
But workers in other countries deal with this dilemma by dressing in suits made from a sustainable material such as wool, Mr Porter says.
In hot Asian climates "wool is still the best option for the sharpest silhouette", the writer reveals, so this advice may well be useful for men working during the British summer.
Wool will allow air to circulate and should prevent heat from remaining trapped, he adds.
Alternatively, male workers looking for a slightly more dressed-down ensemble could consider a men's cardigan, which can be worn over a shirt throughout the year.
