MENS JUMPER MAY BE AN AUTUMN ESSENTIAL
A mens jumper could become the key item in every male's wardrobe, if trend predictions prove correct.
The Journal explains there are certain looks comprising knitwear that will hit the UK high streets during the coming months.
"Grandad cardigans, checked shirts, military wear and tweed suits are leading the way in menswear this autumn," the publication notes.
And one of the main looks is a double-breasted jacket, which high-end designers chose to team with knitwear, blazers and overcoats on the catwalks, it continues.
Mens jumpers could be ideal for this trend, particularly those of a fine knit that are suitable for layering over a shirt and underneath a jacket.
Those who like the option to sport their knitwear open or closed may prefer the "grandad cardigan", which The Journal believes is a key trend that is easy to mimic.
It could be worn with a T-shirt for warmer days or teamed with a thick shirt and scarf when temperatures drop.
