MENS JUMPERS MAY BE SUITABLE FOR WOMEN
A mens jumper is often a key item in male wardrobes, but it could soon become a staple for women too, if a trend catches on.
According to the Wall Street Journal, female shoppers are increasingly looking at clothing designed for men,
But some women will suit these items more than others, with the article stating: "Women who are broad-shouldered, slim-hipped and not too busty will have the best luck wearing clothes made for men."
Fashion writer Teri Agins goes on to say: "I know women who swear by the Shetland sweaters for boys."
Mens knitwear is a common choice for women purchasing unisex items, but good-fitting trousers may be more difficult to find.
Members of both sexes who want to stay in style this autumn may also consider so-called granddad cardigans, which The Journal states will be a key trend during the coming months.
The publication adds designers have teamed the knitwear with blazers and overcoats to achieve a new look for the next season.
