This is the advice of fashion experts at WLS, who explain there is a trend for "iconic fashion eras such as the 1920s" that is going to be a key look this autumn and winter.
"Travelling back through the decades, this fall season seeks inspiration from the masculine themes of the past," the article states.
In order to achieve this fashion, males should dress in fabrics such as "stunning knitwear", tweeds and leathers, it adds.
A mens jumper may be just the thing for those who wish to follow this advice.
Wool trousers and military boots should be worn in shades of grey, black and espresso, the article notes.
Ladies may also follow similar trends, as Stv show The Hour recently suggested vintage looks will be extremely popular for women during the coming months.
