MENS KNITWEAR IS "INDESCRIBABLY USEFUL"
Britons who wish to have a fail-safe item in their wardrobe could opt for mens knitwear, following the advice of a fashion writer.
An example of this is a knitted tie, which Simon Crompton from Style Crave states is his "universal, never-dying default" garment.
He describes the item as having an "indescribably useful" colour and texture that will work well with the majority of ensembles.
"The cloth it's woven from means that it is the perfect accompaniment to absolutely any outfit," Mr Crompton reveals.
And mens knitwear also has a role to play in another favourite item in the fashion writer's wardrobe, as he explains a leather jacket lined with cashmere is a "classic".
Its pockets are lined with cashmere on both sides, which means the item "all feels good and it all works", as well as looking stylish.
And knitwear may also allow men to stay on trend next year, as Agence France-Presse revealed Milan Men's Fashion Week featured a range of creations made from the sustainable material.
