Meanwhile ladies' knitwear trends for winter 2009-10 include cowl-neck jumpers, wrap cardigans and chunky-knit sweaters that can double up as jackets.
This is London noted earlier this week that knitwear is "bigger than ever before" this season.
It pointed out that knitwear is easy to accessorise with other mix-and-match woollen items and suggested pairing oversize jumpers with knit gloves, hats and scarves for a cosy winter look.
