BOSTON LEADS THE WAY IN THE LADIES' KNITWEAR TREND
Ladies' knitwear is becoming popular in Boston, with people taking to the streets in cardigans, an expert observes, which could interest those keeping a fashion eye on the US.
Vanessa Castro, writing for the Examiner, claims that transitional outfits are becoming increasingly noticeable, with people preparing for sudden changes in the weather.
She says layering is another popular trend that is beginning to take hold, with ladies' knitwear being combined with other items.
"Cardigans are a good way to cover up your summer outfit if it is chilly and easy to remove for they are light and easy to carry around," she explains.
Ms Castro advises combining trends from both seasons, pairing summer footwear with ladies' knitwear.
Earlier this month, Hippy Shopper magazine claimed that layering items is the key autumn look for this year.
It suggests that combining ladies' knitwear with other items allows people the flexibility to respond to a mixture of weather conditions at short notice.
