BRITONS COULD TAKE OUTDOOR CLOTHING ON SUMMER HOLIDAYS
Men and women might be wise to consider investing in country clothing this summer, in preparation for the outdoor events being held across the UK.
According to Ian Dulson, marketing and communications manager at UKinbound, there are plenty of activities to do in Britain over the coming months.
He stated: "A lot of other countries don't have anything like our history … and obviously a lot of our historical things are free."
Families could don their outdoor clothing and see the sights, which Mr Dulson says reveal the country's heritage.
And doing so would allow Britons to support their national industries, some of which have been struggling in recent years.
His comments follow research from Sheffield Hallam University, which found the coastal tourist industry in England and Wales is a "substantial and growing employer".
Packing suitable outdoor clothing for a trip to the seaside might ensure tourists are prepared for all weather possibilities.
