CHUNKY LADIES KNITWEAR 'A COMFY NYE LOOK'
Ladies knitwear items such as chunky sweaters are perfect for ringing in the new year, according to a fashion writer.
Jason Sheeler of the Dallas Morning News and F! Luxe told Roni Proter of The 33 TV that sweaters paired with skinny jeans, tall boots and gold jewellery make a chic outfit for New Year's Eve house parties.
He added that laid-back, comfortable clothes like ladies knitwear are perfect for a casual evening watching the end-of-year countdown on television.
Mr Sheeler's suggestion was recently echoed by t5m writer Valerie Tesler, who commented that "statement" ladies knitwear is a perfect option for women planning to enjoy a family meal to celebrate 2010.
The short knit dresses many women have been sporting this season may be a great option, as they will "allow you to eat a big meal in comfort", she wrote.
Ms Tesler also pointed out that "dressy sweaters" with ruffled trim, sequinned cardigans or even a short knit dress paired with colourful tights are all great options when it comes to winter holiday style.
