Speaking to the Daily Mail about her wardrobe and lifestyle, the 53-year-old says she has a rural life living in the Borders.
And one of Armstrong's favourite items of clothing is a country green tweed suit.
Knitwear is another key item for the newsreader, who enjoys wearing a woollen skirt with a smart jacket.
Outdoor clothing is a staple item due to the rustic nature of Armstrong's home life and she reveals she owns around ten outdoor coats.
Hats are said to be the 53-year-old's must-have accessory, which she often combines with country clothing.
In a recent article for the Daily Telegraph, Armstrong wrote about her passion for fly-fishing.
"What I lack in technique, I make up for in enthusiasm," she revealed - adding she was taught about the sport by her first husband.
