GOLFERS AT BRITISH OPEN MAY REQUIRE OUTDOOR CLOTHING
The British Open gets underway this week and outdoor clothing may be required by players and spectators during the contest.
According to the Met Office, heavy rain is expected tomorrow (July 14th), with showers forecast for the rest of the week at St Andrews.
The Open runs from July 11th-18th and will see the likes of Tiger Woods and Padraig Harrington take to the course in search of winning the coveted Claret Jug.
But they may need to don their outdoor clothing while playing, with wool knitwear also perhaps a wise move to keep the participants warm on the Scottish course.
Harrington recently spoke about the site, which has undergone some changes prior to this week's tournament.
"Everything evolves and that's part of golf," he said, adding he has now set his sights on winning his fourth major title.
Tickets are still available for those who wish to put on their outdoor clothing and watch the world-class golfers in action.
