KNITWEAR MAY LIFT WOMEN'S MOODS
Knitwear is recommended by a stylist to the stars as a way to lift an entire outfit.
Mary Alice Stephenson is a contributing editor at Harper's Bazaar and has styled the likes of Beyonce and Sarah Jessica Parker.
Ladies knitwear is one item that will look great for spring and could be a mood-lifter, she tells the Province.
Accessories may also have the same effect, with large earrings and a thin metallic belt tipped by Ms Stephenson as spring must-haves.
"You take the colourful cardigan when you're not feeling your best. Or you wear your chandelier earrings when you're not feeling so great and suddenly, you go from blahs to ahs," she claims.
And feminine clothing is appropriate at this time of year, with Michelle Obama cited as an example of being able to remain powerful but show a glamourous edge.
Many fashion experts have credited America's first lady with inspiring a number of women to opt for cardigans, after Ms Obama was seen sporting the knitwear on numerous occasions.
