LADIES KNITWEAR A FEATURE OF "SENSUAL" COLLECTION
Ladies knitwear forms an integral part of the work of one young designer that a fashion expert has admitted to being "very excited" about.
In a piece for the Irish Independent this week, one writer explained Lisa Shawgi is one talent from the emerald isle that is blazing a trail of her own with her "sensual, undulating, contemporary, romantic, colourful and severe" clothing.
The article noted that although a number of international fashion houses have recently been taking to ladies knitwear, the Sudan-born designer represents one of a number from Ireland that are likely to be enjoying the renaissance.
"My background is a huge influence," Ms Shawgi told the publication, adding that the mix of cultures in her life is something she has only recently learned to use as a means of giving personality to her work.
The news provider's comments follow advice from Topshop this week that suggested ladies knitwear should be high on the Christmas wish lists of fashionistas this festive season.
