LADIES' KNITWEAR 'A HUGE HIT FOR WINTER'
Oversized ladies' knitwear is going to be a huge hit this winter, a leading online fashion magazine asserts.
Female First claims that sweaters and jumpers - a look picked out from the 1980s - are going to return in a big way at the end of this year.
It asserts that fashion-conscious women should try ladies' knitwear with leather leggings and killer heels - this will result in a comfy, evening look while remaining true to trend.
The website suggests that the days of cropped jumpers are over, with items that are long and baggy, with ruched sleeves, taking their place.
It predicts: "Batwing sleeves are also coming onto the trend radar so we're expecting lots of material around the arm area next season- perfect for snuggling up as the long nights draw in."
Earlier this month, Examiner writer Abby Waters claimed that ladies' knitwear must be of a high quality if it is to look as flattering as possible.
