LADIES' KNITWEAR ON DISPLAY AT GRADUATE FASHION WEEK
Ladies' knitwear has already featured heavily on the catwalk at the current Graduate Fashion Week in London.
Held at Earls Court from June 6th-10th, the annual event gives graduates from universities across the UK the opportunity to display their creations.
And there has already been a trend for wool knitwear during the shows, according to the Times Online.
The publication gives the example of one student, Jemma Page from Middlesbrough, who majored in three subjects, including knitwear.
Her collection was "super-smooth" and included "machine-knit silk, cashmere and lambswool", according to the website.
Ms Page was also said to have experimented with felting techniques in the creation of a snood made from lambswool.
"You have to put everything into your work and hope that something comes out of it in the end," she was quoted as saying.
Other items of ladies' knitwear included a range of knitted lingerie from graduate Rosie Sugden.
A Gala Show and Awards presentation will be held tonight (June 9th), to further recognise the students' talent.
