Wearing a mens jumper with grey flannel trousers could be set to be the next big trend.
According to Style Crave's Simon Crompton, the legwear is an ideal alternative to jeans and is versatile for a number of occasions.
"[The flannel trouser] is not a pair of chinos - which will always have associations with workwear - and are inherently casual as a result," he explains.
And neither is it a pair of smart wool trousers, which only tend to be suited to the office, Mr Crompton claims.
This style is an ideal compromise between both and looks great with leather footwear in any colour or type.
The expert suggests it is important to choose the right cut, which should sit on the hips and not be too tight around the thighs.
Males might like to purchase their mens jumper in a burgundy hue, as the Sydney Morning Herald recently suggested the colour is a fashionable alternative to more neutral tones.
