MENS JUMPERS AND WOOLLEN CLOTHING "A PLEASURE TO WEAR"
Donning a mens jumper or another garment crafted from wool is as fashionable today as it has ever been.
That's according to the New York Times, which discusses how the fabric has gone in and out of fashion over the years.
Today, the publication says wool is "a pleasure to wear", as well as having other benefits such as its natural creation.
"A current urge for authenticity has brought wool back to the heartland of winter wear," it notes.
And designers featured a number of creations made from the textile on their catwalks for autumn and winter this year, with jumpers, cardigans, coats and socks crafted from wool.
There is a definite philosophy these days that is pitted against "global overreach and fast fashion", the article suggests, which could explain why knitwear is proving so popular.
Celebrities certainly seem to appreciate such attire, as Steve Jones recently told the Daily Telegraph he loves to wear mens jumpers with smart-casual ensembles.
