MEN'S WOOL KNITWEAR 'IDEAL FOR SUMMER'
Men's wool knitwear offers people a smart look for the summer months, according to a writer at Style Crave.
In warm weather a full-weight jacket can feel too hot, so choosing the right weave of wool is a good way to get around this problem and remain suitably dressed for work, Simon Crompton states.
"The weight of the wool … is crucial," he notes, advising nine or ten ounces is ideal for a jacket.
"That should feel very easy and flighty to wear, while not wrinkling too easily or wearing out at the elbows in a matter of weeks," Mr Crompton continues.
Basket weave knitwear could also be useful as threads are more loosely bound and allow air to circulate, he adds.
Women looking for an equally smart outfit to wear to the office this season could consider ladies' knitwear.
Cardigans, for example, can appear elegant when teamed with a summer dress and may also be practical if the workplace tends to get cold with air conditioning in operation.
