WEAR MENS JUMPERS 'WITH TRENDY WOOL TIES'
A mens jumper is so versatile it can be worn with most garments, but a particularly trendy way to sport it is with a wool tie.
That is the advice of Simon Crompton, writing for Style Crave, who says the accessories are particularly handy at this time of year.
Mr Crompton claims he often wears his own wool tie with a heavy-knit mens jumper, although they can be paired with many other pieces.
Cashmere-mix varieties tend to be the best, as they move freely and will sit lightly against other clothes.
Colours should be kept fairly neutral, with Mr Crompton stating: "A wool tie is always more sophisticated when subtler in colour."
Olive green, dirty browns and rusty orange hues would all work well, as would navy cashmere or grey, he adds.
TV star Steve Jones might consider purchasing the accessory, as he recently admitted to the Daily Telegraph he enjoys wearing mens jumpers.
