WOOL MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN 'A VERY DURABLE FABRIC'
Wool knitwear is known for its softness and comfortable qualities, but there are other aspects to the sustainable material.
It is "a very durable [and] quality fabric" says designer Hannah Wright, who spoke to the BBC about the textile.
Ms Wright, from Swansea, uses wool made in Wales to create fashionable items of clothing.
And she will reveal her collection at the Royal Welsh Agricultural Show, the BBC notes.
The designer helps out with the entire process of creating wool knitwear and often works at a farm run by her family.
"I became more interested in working with tweed as something that farmers or landowners wore," she explains, adding she has created a number of contemporary designs from the sustainable material.
The Royal Welsh Agricultural Show gets underway today (July 19th) and runs until July 22nd at the showground in Llanelwedd, which first hosted the event in 1963.
Around 230,000 people are expected to attend the show over the four days, organisers predict.
