SHEEPSKIN FEATURES IN ARMANI SHOW
Sheepskin has again been hitting the catwalks and has been seen on models at Milan Fashion Week.
Fashion writers at the Guardian explain that many designers at the Italian event have chosen to avoid the typical "sexy look" that is often seen there.
Instead there is a trend for understated sex appeal and more casual attire.
Country clothing and sheepskin both feature heavily in this theme, it was claimed.
For example, Giorgio Armani chose "luxurious blond sheepskin" for many of his coats' designs.
The coming autumn and following winter will see good tailoring combined with comfort and warmth.
"Luxe-countrywear" coats were also recently spotted on the likes of Burberry models, as well as other items of outdoor clothing.
London Fashion Week saw a military theme in many of its shows and the idea that preparing for the great outdoors could be done in a fashionable manner prevailed.
Sheepskin-lined footwear and outerwear made from the cosy material were seen by many fashion experts over the week.
