SHEEPSKIN BOOTS ARE 'MUST HAVE FASHION ITEM'
Ladies' winter boots are this season's must have fashion item, according to Fitness Footwear.
There has been a surge in demand for boots with thick fur linings, such as sheepskin footwear or Ugg style boots, the retailer said.
Luke Barlow, managing director at Fitness Footwear, commented that boots were not cheap but he added that you "get what you pay for whether it's branding, good looks, extra insulation or better materials".
Snow boots, which are traditionally associated with ski resorts and snowy weather, are particularly popular.
This is because of their thick insulation and grip, making them warm and safe to wear on slippery surfaces.
Ugg style boots and sheepskin footwear are good choices for shoes that will keep feet toasty warm in the winter weather.
A good look this winter is to wear chunky and warm sheepskin boots with leggings and a denim skirt or baggy knitted dress.
This style has been seen on the X Factor finalist Stacey Solomon, who is a fan of Ugg style boots.
