SHEEPSKIN BOOTS 'GREAT FOR FREEZING CONDITIONS'
Sheepskin boots are a "fantastically cosy" choice for people who want to beat the chill as temperatures in the UK continue to stay low.
The Daily Mail praised sheepskin lining for its comfort, adding that Ugg-style boots are a better option than ballet flats or high heels when the weather is cold and there is ice on the ground.
It noted that the best cold-weather choice is a boot with sheepskin around the toes and in the leg. Opt for the highest leg-length possible for even more warmth and protection against deep snow.
According to the Met Office, most of the UK has been affected by heavy snowfall during the past few days. Yesterday (January 6th), chief forecaster Bob Wilderspin commented that all parts of the country are likely to be affected by "very icy conditions".
Further snowfall, particularly in the east and south parts of the country, is predicted and the freezing conditions may continue to the middle of the month.
