UGG STYLE BOOTS ARE 'DOMESTIC UNIFORM'
GMTV presenter Penny Smith has revealed that part of her "domestic uniform" includes Ugg style boots.
The 51-year-old told the Daily Mail that she enjoys wearing her comfy sheepskin footwear as slippers around the house.
Whilst on-screen Ms Smith manages to look smart and chic in elegant dresses and high heels, but when she is at home she has admitted that she likes to relax.
Her favourite outfit for around the house includes her Ugg style boots, a checked pair of trousers and a sweater.
She admitted that she "swears by" her beige and black sheepskin footwear.
This comes after the Ugg boot made it into the BBC's list of defining objects for the Noughties.
As the decade draws to a close, it seems that this popular sheepskin footwear has become a ubiquitous fashion accessory and term.
Other objects in the list included hair straighteners, the PlayStation 3, wheelie bins and BlackBerrys.
