UGG STYLE BOOTS 'ARE PRACTICAL AND CELEBS LOVE THEM'
Ugg style boots have been highly popular over the past decade and continue to be so.
But the sheepskin footwear actually originated a number of years ago and is one of many trends to have seen a comeback.
This is according to Lucy Godfrey, writing for The Fashion Time Magazine about today's trends and influences.
She explains that Ugg style boots made their return to the fashion world in the year 2000.
"Warm and comfy, the trend spread wide and far … They are practical and all the celebs love them!" she claims.
Just some of these celebrities are pictured by the publication and include Jennifer Aniston, Kate Moss and Eva Longoria.
And this could be behind the footwear becoming such a big trend in recent years.
Towards the end of 2009, as the first decade of the millennium was coming to a close, many fashion publications cited the Ugg style boot as a defining trend of the past ten years.
According to the Post Bulletin, the sheepskin boots are particularly popular among celebrities such as the Olsen twins, Lindsay Lohan and Nicole Richie.
