AUBERGINE COLOURS 'LOOK GREAT WITH KNITWEAR'
Knitwear in classic shades such as nude and eggshell looks great with aubergine hues.
This is according to a recent Daily Mail article, which suggested pepping up this season's pieces with some coloured tights.
Aubergine, which is a popular shade for winter accessories such as scarves and gloves, works as a hue for tights - as it is flattering and smart enough for anything from the office to an evening out.
The newspaper said as well as looking fantastic with tan and beige knitted items, it also complements grey wool and darker coats.
Ladies who would like to give this colour a go and veer away from the usual black might want to start by adding a touch of it to their normal outfits. Sheepskin boots, a pair of earrings, gloves or a belt are all good places to start for those not sure about committing a whole piece of clothing to purple.
